Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair is making explosive claims about tech billionaire Elon Musk, alleging he privately discussed using Starlink satellites and proprietary election data capabilities during the 2024 presidential race.
The allegations surfaced in a TikTok video posted this week in which St. Clair detailed what she described as a series of private conversations with Musk beginning in October 2024.
According to St. Clair, Musk referenced using what he allegedly described as an “anomaly in the matrix” involving “10,000 lasers in space,” which she claimed was a reference to SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network.
St. Clair said Musk allegedly told her the system would not be “a piece they’ll see on the chessboard,” a comment she suggested implied covert capabilities related to the election.
The former MAGA influencer claimed she intentionally avoided asking further questions because she feared legal consequences or being pulled into future investigations.
“He said, ‘Very wise,’” St. Clair recounted in the video after claiming she declined to press him further.
St. Clair also alleged that Musk showed her internal data from his pro-Trump political operation, America PAC, including what she described as “real-time delta vote metrics” during the campaign.
She claimed the data appeared far more sophisticated than traditional political campaign operations she had worked with previously, which she described as relying heavily on unreliable door-knocking operations and outdated voter outreach methods.
The allegations intensified when St. Clair described election night at Mar-a-Lago.
According to her account, Musk had already left the property when he allegedly contacted her claiming his organization possessed the best real-time election data available and already knew President Donald Trump would win hours before networks officially projected the race.
“How do you have real-time data on elections?” St. Clair claimed she asked Musk during the conversation.
Throughout the video, St. Clair repeatedly emphasized that she became increasingly uneasy about the implications of advanced technology being used in politics and elections.
She claimed she documented conversations and communications she received because she feared potential retaliation or future legal battles.
“I have all of this backed up with many people with explicit instructions should anything happen to me,” she said in the video.
St. Clair also claimed she rejected offers to remain silent and said she now feels obligated to speak publicly because she believes emerging technology could pose serious risks to democracy if left unchecked.
At one point, she compared the situation to the Cambridge Analytica scandal involving Facebook user data during the 2016 election cycle, though she argued the alleged circumstances surrounding Musk were “a million times worse.”
The influencer additionally reflected on her role inside the MAGA movement, claiming she regretted helping popularize “Dark MAGA” imagery after giving Musk a black MAGA hat that later became widely associated with the movement online, according to Where is the Buzz.
As of now, Musk has not publicly responded to the allegations.
There is currently no publicly available evidence supporting St. Clair’s claims regarding Starlink, election interference or covert election monitoring capabilities.
Starlink is a satellite internet system operated by SpaceX that primarily provides broadband internet access worldwide.
Election officials and cybersecurity experts have repeatedly stated there is no evidence that voting systems in the 2024 election were manipulated through satellite technology or external communications systems.
Still, the allegations quickly spread across social media Tuesday as critics and supporters of Musk debated the credibility of St. Clair’s claims and the growing influence of technology companies and billionaire political donors in American elections.
