Tucker Carlson’s nicotine pouch company, ALP Supply Co., is offering a $100,000 reward as authorities investigate the reported hijacking of a multimillion-dollar shipment in Southern California.
The truck, carrying roughly 378,000 cans of ALP’s limited-edition Drifters line, vanished en route to a warehouse in Kentucky, sparking a national search for both the vehicle and those responsible.
According to ALP, the shipment departed a Southern California logistics facility after the driver presented documents that initially appeared legitimate.
Shortly afterward, communication with the truck was lost, and early tracking data suggested it was moving east before the system went dark.
Investigators are examining whether the tracking device was tampered with to mask the truck’s true location, a tactic often seen in high-value cargo thefts.
The theft prompted swift law enforcement action.
The Fullerton Police Department confirmed a report was filed on Feb. 23, and ALP has cooperated fully with authorities, including notifying the FBI.
The company stressed that the incident represents a temporary disruption and noted that replacement production is already underway to keep the national rollout of Drifters on schedule, NY Magazine reported.
Carlson responded publicly with characteristic humor, framing the theft as audacious yet illegal.
“We know what it feels like to want an Alp so badly that you could hijack a truck full of it. But come on. That’s illegal,” he said, according to The Blaze. “We’re going to find the people who did this and redistribute their booty. Alp for the people.”
ALP Drifters, known for their high nicotine content and limited availability, retail at up to $6.99 per can.
The line’s distinct flavors, double-strength nicotine content compared with mainstream competitors, and intentionally small production runs have created a fervent following among consumers.
Their scarcity and potency have made the shipment a high-value target, drawing attention both online and in the press.
ALP even released an AI-generated video in a ’90s action-movie style, featuring Carlson alongside Alex Jones and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to encourage public tips for recovering the shipment.
Cargo theft specialists note that Southern California is a hotspot for organized theft of high-value, portable products.
According to The Liberty Line, criminals often use falsified credentials, manipulate tracking systems, and plan thefts along major highways, all tactics consistent with the ALP Drifters incident.
Authorities emphasize that credible leads could both help recover the shipment and assist in prosecuting those responsible, highlighting the serious legal consequences for such thefts.
The company reiterated that while the theft has generated viral attention and widespread social media speculation, ALP’s priority remains securing the missing inventory and ensuring the planned nationwide release continues with minimal delay.
The $100,000 reward applies to leads resulting in either the return of the stolen goods or the conviction of the perpetrators, signaling the company’s intent to pursue every investigative avenue.
The incident exposes the vulnerabilities faced by premium, fast-moving consumer goods during transit and highlights the growing sophistication of organized cargo theft operations.
ALP Supply Co. continues to work closely with law enforcement, reassuring consumers that Drifters will reach retailers as soon as recovery and replacement efforts allow, while the search for the missing shipment intensifies nationwide.
