Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun are reportedly talking seriously about their future together, including the possibility of having children.
According to Page Six, those conversations have led Sweeney to consider converting to Judaism.
“The couple is discussing having their own family and Scooter feels strongly on the subject,” a source told the outlet.
Sweeney and Braun have been increasingly public about their relationship in recent months, and reports now suggest the romance could be heading toward marriage.
Page Six previously reported that Braun is considering proposing within the next six months.
The couple was also recently seen attending Rosh Hashanah services together at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut.
A witness said the pair sat toward the back of the synagogue.
While rumors that Sweeney was thinking about converting had already circulated online, Page Six now reports that she is taking the idea seriously.
A source told the outlet that Sweeney has met with two rabbis to discuss the conversion process.
Converting to Judaism can take years and generally involves significant religious study as well as guidance from a sponsoring rabbi.
The reported religious discussions come as Braun and Sweeney appear to be making long-term plans.
Braun has reportedly spoken openly about wanting to marry the actress.
“He is trying very hard to marry her,” a source said last month.
The source added that Braun has been following Sweeney’s schedule and chartering private planes as he continues pursuing the relationship.
Braun also posted a public birthday tribute to Sweeney on Sept. 12.
In the message, he described her as someone who had changed the way he viewed partnership and the future.
“You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to,” Braun wrote.
He also said Sweeney makes him “smile harder,” “laugh louder,” “adventure more” and “dream bigger.”
The couple has continued traveling together as their relationship grows.
They were recently part of a group vacation at Lake Powell in Utah.
They have also been photographed together in Venice, Italy, and New Zealand.
One source previously compared Sweeney to Marilyn Monroe, calling her “the modern Marilyn Monroe.”
The comparison also carried a religious connection.
Monroe converted to Judaism after marrying playwright Arthur Miller.
For Sweeney, however, no conversion has been completed.
The source says she is still exploring the process and has been meeting with rabbis as she and Braun discuss marriage, children and what their future could look like.
For now, the couple appears to be moving quickly.
With reported engagement plans, conversations about starting a family and Sweeney seriously considering conversion, the relationship is showing signs of becoming increasingly permanent.
