See It: Hollywood Star Brutally Beaten, Robbed at Gunpoint

“Pretty Little Liars” star Keegan Allen says he was beaten and robbed at gunpoint Thursday night outside an upscale grocery store in West Hollywood.

Allen, 37, said two masked men confronted him in the parking lot of Laurel Supply as he appeared to be placing items into the rear passenger side of his truck.

Security footage captured the attack.

One of the men repeatedly struck Allen in the head with a gun while the other held him at knifepoint.

Allen said the attackers threatened to kill him over his watch.

“These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off,” Allen said in a video posted to Instagram shortly after the attack.

“They had masks on and took my watch. They took my watch. Dammit.”

The robbers fled with Allen’s watch but left behind his bracelet and ring.

Allen also showed followers his bloodied arm while describing what happened.

The actor later said in Instagram comments that he went to the hospital following the attack.

He told followers he would be “OK.”

Allen also wrote that he was “def concussed,” though he did not say whether doctors had formally diagnosed him with a concussion.

The attack prompted Allen to issue a blunt warning about crime in the area.

“West Hollywood is not safe anymore,” he wrote.

He also questioned whether the surveillance technology installed around the city would help authorities identify the suspects.

Allen specifically called out Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom while discussing the camera network.

“Will update more soon,” he wrote. “Let’s hope all these flock cameras that (Karen Bass), (Gavin Newsom) and everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless.”

West Hollywood currently has 39 Flock Safety license plate readers operating in the city.

Six live-video cameras have also been installed out of 54 that have been approved, according to a city report.

The technology is intended to help police identify suspects and investigate crimes.

The camera system has also faced criticism from people concerned that surveillance data could potentially be shared with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for immigration enforcement purposes, per Trending Politics.

For Allen, however, the immediate concern is whether the system can help track down the two men who attacked him.

The actor rose to fame playing Toby Cavanaugh on the hit teen drama “Pretty Little Liars.”

Allen appeared on the series from 2010 until 2017.

He later starred as Liam Walker on “Walker” between 2021 and 2024.

More recently, Allen appeared in an episode of “The Rookie” this year.

His latest headlines have nothing to do with television.

Instead, Allen is recovering after an armed robbery that he says left him bloodied and sent him to the hospital.

The two masked suspects were still being sought following the attack.
