Missing student feared to be CRUSHED and INCINERATED after passing out in trash during partying at tourist hotspot: Report

A tragic accident may explain the disappearance of 24-year-old student Agostina Rubini Medina, who was last seen two weeks ago while partying in Palma, Majorca, Spain. According to Spanish police, Medina likely passed out in a trash bin and was later crushed in a garbage truck before being incinerated.

Medina had been out with friends enjoying the night when she disappeared. Authorities believe that, after becoming heavily intoxicated, she may have ended up inside a trash bin. One theory is that she was looking for her phone or another item she may have dropped when she passed out.

Surveillance and witness reports provided more clues. A worker at a shop near a bus stop along her route home said that Medina, who appeared very drunk, had stopped to buy a bag of chips shortly before midnight. Later, a witness at the bus stop noticed Medina’s handbag and blouse neatly placed next to a large trash bin.

Tracking data from Medina’s phone revealed that it stayed in the same spot near the bin for about 30 minutes before moving toward the local incineration plant. The movement of her phone coincided with the schedule of a garbage truck that had serviced the area.

Police suspect that Medina was scooped up by the garbage truck, crushed by its compactor, and later taken to the incineration plant, where her phone was destroyed. Skeletal remains were found among the ashes at the plant, and authorities are working to determine if they belong to Medina.

Inspector Ángel Ruiz, speaking to the media, shared that the main theory is that Medina entered the trash container to retrieve something but passed out due to intoxication. Police noted that Medina was a thin woman with a low tolerance for alcohol, which was further affected by medication she had been taking.

The investigation continues as authorities await DNA results to confirm if the remains found at the incineration plant belong to Medina. Friends and family of Medina have been left devastated by the tragic turn of events. Authorities are also reviewing CCTV footage and garbage truck routes in the area to piece together the exact details of how the accident occurred, hoping to give Medina’s family more clarity and closure.
