Don Lemon loses his mind and calls Trump supporters ‘dumb f—ing idiots,’ mocks their ‘stupid MAGA brain’

Former CNN host Don Lemon took to his YouTube channel with an expletive-filled tirade aimed at supporters of President-elect Donald Trump. During a recent episode of The Don Lemon Show, the outspoken commentator lashed out at Trump’s base, calling them “dumb f—ing idiots” and deriding their so-called “MAGA brain.”

“You’re so f—ing stupid, and you deserve it. You f—ing deserve it because you’re so dumb,” Lemon said, expressing disdain for those who align with Trump’s political movement. “Yes, I am gloating over your stupidity,” he continued, mocking his critics for what he sees as blind loyalty to a political ideology.

Lemon didn’t stop there, accusing Trump supporters of being part of a “cult.” He added, “You’ve been co-opted because you’re in a f—ing cult and you don’t even realize it because you have stupid MAGA brain and you don’t get it. How stupid and dumb are you?”

Lemon’s remarks come amid a rift within the MAGA movement over immigration policies, particularly regarding H-1B visas for skilled laborers.

The debate escalated after Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, co-chairs of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), voiced their support for these visas. Musk and Ramaswamy argued that H-1B visas are essential for fostering innovation and bringing highly skilled talent to the United States.

However, not everyone in Trump’s circle agrees. Conservative firebrand Steve Bannon has been a vocal critic of the program, labeling it a “scam” on his War Room podcast. Bannon argued, “H-1B visas take American jobs and bring over what essentially become indentured servants at lower wages.”

Despite the division, Trump sided with Musk and Ramaswamy over the weekend, stating his support for H-1B visas. The move sparked further backlash within the MAGA base, with critics accusing the former president of prioritizing corporate interests over American workers.

Lemon also addressed the controversy, referencing the recent appointment of Sriram Krishnan as a senior adviser on artificial intelligence under Trump. “So, Krishnan’s appointment triggered an anti-Indian backlash on social media, particularly given his past advocacy for increasing green cards and immigration broadly,” Lemon noted.

In addition to his immigration-related criticisms, Lemon took aim at Time Magazine for naming Donald Trump as their Person of the Year. Lemon called the decision a “joke” and questioned the magazine’s reasoning.

“If they wanted to make someone Person of the Year, I don’t know, they could’ve done it with any person. They could have done it to someone who actually stood for democracy, who stands for democracy in the country,” Lemon said.

Mocking the outrage over immigration, Lemon quipped, “Oh no, immigration. We can’t do the immigration because, you know, the immigration triggers some people. You know what they’re saying about the anti-immigration stuff, right? Who’s it to say that one of the jobs you might be seeking won’t be one of those White jobs?”

Lemon’s latest comments are consistent with his history of provocative statements. The former CNN anchor was fired in April 2023 after a series of scandals, including remarks that alienated female viewers and conservative audiences. Known as one of CNN’s most openly left-leaning voices, Lemon has frequently made headlines for his controversial opinions.

Over the years, Lemon has compared Trump supporters to members of the Ku Klux Klan, defended the actions of Antifa, and criticized those who refused to get vaccinated against COVID-19, accusing them of “taking up the space” in hospitals.
