Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s own brother, Jeff Walz, has reportedly considered aligning himself with former President Donald Trump and has publicly criticized his brother, describing him as “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
The revelation comes from conservative journalist Laura Loomer, who discovered Jeff Walz’s Facebook profile filled with posts sharply critical of both his brother and the current administration.
One post from May 2023, coinciding with the day the Biden-Harris administration indicted Donald Trump in New York City, reads: “We’ve just become a third-world banana republic.”
When a follower suggested he address his concerns directly with his brother, Jeff Walz disclosed that he hasn’t spoken to Tim in eight years and is “100% opposed to all his ideology.” He also mentioned that his family was caught off guard by Tim’s political career and was denied security following his election.
“Haven’t spoken to him in 8 years. I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology. My family wasn’t given any notice that he was selected and denied security the days after,” Jeff wrote.
In another comment, a user encouraged Jeff Walz to “Help MAGA… Get on stage with President Trump and endorse him… Help save this country.” Jeff’s response was revealing: “I’ve thought hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Loomer noted that Jeff Walz had previously donated to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.
Tim Walz and Kamala Harris recently had their first interview, after 40 days from Biden endorsing Kamala to take his position and starting their campaign, the interview was 18 minutes long, heavily edited, people online said the interview was a massive ‘FAIL’.
