The mystery surrounding the sightings in the skies above New Jersey just took another shocking twist.
An ABC 7 News crew recorded several seconds of video of a strange, flickering white orb.
It can be seen on camera floating around in the Mendham Township sky.
The local news crew spotted the object while doing an update on suspicious drone sightings across the Garden State.
In a report on the strange object, the reporter admits they have “no idea what it is.”
She then explains that New Jersey officials are urging residents to send videos of strange objects.
The public is sending videos and images so that “experts” can determine what the objects in the sky are.
As the video shows, this does not look like a drone or anything that would typically be seen in the skies.

This news comes as New Jersey residents and the rest of America are demanding answers from public officials on an apparent drone invasion.
Last week, several mysterious drones were spotted flying over New Jersey.
The drones were spotted in at least 12 counties.
This issue is prompting mayors to contact the governor and demand answers.
The Biden administration has refused to come clean on the drones’ origins.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby categorically denied any confirmed incursions.
Kirby dismissed over 3,000 reports of “car-sized drones.”
He argues they are mistaken sightings of helicopters or airplanes.
Kirby’s assurances, however, directly contradict statements from military officials at New Jersey’s Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle.
Both of these military locations have confirmed unauthorized drone breaches in recent weeks.
The White House has also dismissed seemingly credible reports alleging that the drones could be the work of a foreign adversary, specifically Iran.
There have now been multiple sightings over U.S. Military bases.
