‘Woke’ Actress Arrested — The Reason Will Shock You

Actress Selma Blair was arrested Sunday night after allegedly attacking two Delta Air Lines flight attendants during a midair disturbance on a flight from Los Angeles to New York.

The 54-year-old “Legally Blonde” star was taken into custody after Delta Flight 938 landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Authorities said the incident unfolded while the aircraft was still in the air.

Blair allegedly attempted to open an emergency door thousands of feet above the ground, prompting members of the flight crew to intervene.

The confrontation then allegedly became physical.

Blair is accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another as crew members tried to control the situation.

Two flight attendants reported injuries.

One of them was transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

Port Authority police responded to the aircraft at approximately 11 p.m. after it arrived at JFK from Los Angeles International Airport.

“On Sunday October 11 at approximately 11pm at JFK Airport, PAPD responded to a call about a physically abusive passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938 which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX,” officials said.

Police identified the passenger as Blair.

“She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation,” authorities said.

Federal investigators have also become involved.

The FBI is investigating the incident, according to Port Authority officials.

Authorities had not publicly detailed formal criminal charges against Blair at the time of the report.

Delta issued a statement following the confrontation, stressing that it does not tolerate dangerous behavior aboard its aircraft.

“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first,” the airline said.

Blair’s representative later attributed the alleged behavior to a medical emergency, per Trending Politics.

“Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct,” the representative said.

“Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.”

No further information was provided about the nature of that medical emergency.

There has also been no confirmation that Blair’s previously disclosed health conditions played any role in what allegedly happened aboard the flight.

Blair revealed in 2018 that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a neurological disease that can affect movement, vision, memory and other functions.

She has spoken publicly for years about living with the condition.

More recently, Blair said she was not experiencing MS relapses and was feeling well.

Sunday’s incident is not the first time Blair has experienced trouble aboard a commercial aircraft.

In 2016, she was removed from a Delta flight returning from Cancun after reportedly combining alcohol with prescription medication and becoming disruptive.

Blair later apologized publicly for that episode.

She said the combination caused her to black out and behave in a way she regretted.

The latest allegations are more serious because they involve reported physical injuries to members of the flight crew and an alleged attempt to interfere with an aircraft door.

Blair has been a recognizable Hollywood actress for decades, appearing in films including “Legally Blonde,” “Cruel Intentions” and “Hellboy.”

Her representative maintains that Sunday’s episode resulted from a medical emergency.

Investigators will now attempt to determine exactly what occurred aboard Flight 938 and whether federal charges are warranted.

For now, Blair is reportedly in stable condition following her hospital evaluation, while the FBI continues examining the circumstances surrounding the midair confrontation.
