Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) unveiled a new slogan for GOP supporters after her public split with President Donald Trump.
“AFAO!!” Greene wrote in a tweet Saturday. The initials stand for “America First America Only.”
Trump unendorsed Greene Friday night, calling her a “ranting lunatic.”
Greene argued that Trump used it as an excuse for not releasing the Epstein files.
She appears to be launching her own breakaway movement after years as a MAGA stalwart.
The Georgia Republican has clashed with Trump over many “America First” issues and wants him to focus on domestic priorities.
She has criticized his foreign policy attention and called his rollout of trade tariffs “bumpy.”
Greene also disagreed with Trump’s claim that inflation is under control, as the Daily Mail reported.
“My heart is with Americans who struggle to afford life in America today,” Greene wrote Saturday.
“After tyrannical covid lockdowns and gigantic government spending bailouts, inflation has driven cost out of control, while American jobs have been replaced by visa holders and illegals. AFAO!!!”
The feud appeared complete on Friday after Trump withdrew his endorsement, citing Greene’s recent criticism of his agenda.
Trump posted on Truth Social that he was withdrawing support for Greene.
He called her a “Lightweight Congresswoman,” “Traitor,” and a “disgrace” to the Republican Party.
Trump said all he sees Greene doing is “complain, complain, complain.”
The conflict reportedly began after Trump shared a poll suggesting Greene had little chance of winning a Senate or gubernatorial race without his endorsement.
Greene said private security firms warned her about her safety following Trump’s online criticism.
“Aggressive rhetoric attacking me has historically led to death threats and multiple convictions of men who were radicalized by the same type (of) rhetoric being directed at me right now,” Greene posted on X.
She accused Trump of lying about her and trying to intimidate other Republicans ahead of a House vote on the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Greene said she now has a “small understanding” of the fear and pressure felt by Epstein’s victims.
Only four House Republicans joined Democrats in signing a petition to force a vote on releasing the complete Justice Department files related to Epstein, including Greene.
Trump called the furor over Epstein a hoax pushed by Democrats.
He suggested conservative voters in Greene’s district might consider a primary challenger and that he would support the right candidate against her in next year’s congressional election.
Right-wing influencers and conservative media personalities have fueled online backlash from Trump supporters.
Greene dismissed speculation about a 2028 presidential bid.
She said she is focused on her district in northwest Georgia.
The feud underscores growing tension within the Republican Party over Trump’s handling of issues ranging from migrant visas and Israel to the Epstein files.
Key Republican allies have publicly clashed with the administration on several issues, and some have been cast out.
Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson have criticized Trump on foreign policy and Israel, further highlighting fractures within the party.
