House Democrats release Epstein email that claimed Trump ‘spent hours’ with victim

House Democrats release a previously unseen email written by Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 that alleges President Donald Trump “spent hours” at Epstein’s residence with one of the financier’s sex trafficking victims.

The message, sent by Epstein to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell — who was later convicted of sex trafficking — was made public on Wednesday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.

In the email, Epstein wrote that Trump had “spent hours at my house” with one of his victims, adding that the meeting “has never once been mentioned” by police or the media. He referred to Trump as “a dog that hasn’t barked,” suggesting that Trump’s involvement had escaped scrutiny.

The disclosure has reignited controversy surrounding Epstein’s network of powerful friends and associates, many of whom have faced renewed questions since his death in 2019 while in federal custody.

President Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing or inappropriate behavior linked to Epstein or his alleged crimes. The president has publicly maintained that he “had a falling out” with Epstein years before the financier’s 2019 arrest, claiming the two had not spoken for about 15 years. “I wasn’t a fan,” Trump said at the time.

Trump’s critics argue that the email raises new questions about his relationship with Epstein and the scope of the earlier investigations. However, Republicans have dismissed the release as a politically motivated attempt by House Democrats to damage the president during his second term.

Epstein, once a well-connected financier with ties to global elites, died in a New York jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide, though it continues to fuel speculation and conspiracy theories about the true extent of his criminal operations and the people he was connected to.

House Democrats on the Oversight Committee have not specified whether the email will lead to further hearings or investigations but said they plan to continue examining Epstein’s political connections and whether federal law enforcement mishandled earlier probes.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
