The suspected romantic partner and confirmed roommate of the man accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has been confirmed to have identified as transgender.
The Post Millenial’s Andy Ngo published an explosive deep dive into this alleged partner, highlighting the ins and outs of his online activity.
Ngo noted that on Friday it was authenticated that 22-year-old Lance S. Twiggs, who lived with accused gunman Tyler Robinson in St. George, Utah, is the partner referenced in court documents as Robinson’s roommate.
The apartment is located about four hours from Utah Valley University, where Kirk was murdered.
Twiggs’ online presence links to multiple accounts confirming his so-called transgender identity.
Ngo spotlighted that his activity on the video game platform Steam shows he went by the username “fluxalotl,” which matches usernames from TikTok profiles displaying his image.
A U.S. government source, speaking anonymously, confirmed to Ngo that the Steam account belonged to Twiggs.
Records show that in December 2024, Twiggs changed his Steam display name from Lance to “Luna.”
Online history of the account revealed older usernames, such as “lanclotl” and “lancelotte,” both of which matched profiles connected to him.
Ngo highlighted that a search of Reddit forums showed the username “lancelott3,” with the display name “flux,” linked back to Twiggs.
Posts from that account provided biographical information consistent with his background.
The same Reddit account was highly active on r/4tran, a community for trans-identifying users.
Ngo further reported that in November 2024, Twiggs wrote about his struggles with injecting cross-sex hormones.
Responding to a thread on injection pain, he stated, “seriously. sometimes it’s just muscle memory, sometimes i gotta get buzzed on something so i’m not too anxious about it.”
That same month, Twiggs replied to a discussion about Donald Trump’s re-election victory and its impact on trans-identifying individuals.
One user wrote that Trump’s win motivated them to improve their life despite opposition.
Twiggs responded, “Honestly same, i realized after a bit of dooming that even if i was overall hiding from the local public now, my life socially wouldn’t really change, which was more depressing than any election lol. So, working on that as my new year’s resolution.”
Twiggs has publicly written about leaving his Mormon upbringing, according to Ngo.
On r/exchristian, he claimed he was forced out of his family home after refusing spiritual intervention from his church.
He wrote, “[W]as told i was possessed by a demon and then within 30 mins kicked outta the house because i started laughing and wouldn’t go to the bishop for a blessing.”
He added that his family “wasn’t even 18 at the time” of the incident, alleging that they simply wanted him out of the house.
Twiggs later wrote, “if you have to deal with wacky evangelism, simply leave because you won’t be able to help them and they will continue to hurt you.”
A neighbor of Robinson and Twiggs told The Sun he believed Twiggs was transgender and said he observed the two kissing about two weeks before the shooting.
Court records list Twiggs only as Robinson’s roommate.
Authorities said Twiggs cooperated with investigators when contacted.
Robinson exchanged messages with his partner prior to the shooting, according to the complaint.
Surveillance footage of Robinson near the university campus showed him appearing to communicate on his phone.
Investigators have not accused Twiggs of any crime.
Axios reported that federal and state investigators are examining whether Robinson’s actions were motivated by Kirk’s outspoken criticism of transgender ideology.
Kirk was answering a question about transgender shooters during an event on Sept. 10 when he was shot in the neck.
The same Axios report noted that investigators are also reviewing potential ties between Robinson and radical leftist groups operating in Utah.
One group reportedly deleted its social media presence following the assassination.
Despite official reports, large left-wing accounts online have continued to circulate claims that Robinson was aligned with far-right extremism.
Those accounts have largely dismissed or ignored reports about Robinson’s partner being “transgender.”
The rifle cartridges used in Kirk’s assassination reportedly had Antifa propaganda messages printed on some of them.
In a statement published by The Wall Street Journal, Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed that authorities view Robinson’s actions as connected to far-left extremism.
“It’s very clear to us and to the investigators that this was a person who was deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” Cox said.
