‘100%’: After Weeks of Nothing, Kirk’s Murder Narrative Gains New Teeth

The family member of Lance Twiggs, roommate and reported romantic partner of Charlie Kirk assassination suspect Tyler Robinson, has broken her silence regarding the ongoing investigation.

She confirmed that Twiggs no longer receives FBI protection despite facing significant threats in the weeks following the attack.

In an exclusive interview with NewsNation’s Brian Entin, the woman expressed complete confidence in law enforcement’s identification of Robinson as the perpetrator.

When directly questioned about authorities having the correct suspect, she stated unequivocally that she believes they do.

The relative described both young men as exceptionally intelligent individuals whose talents set them apart from their peers.

She noted that Twiggs possessed remarkable musical abilities that distinguished him from typical musicians.

“Both of them are super smart. I mean, Lance was … a concert pianist, like his talent for piano music was off the charts, like not normal. It was very, it was very impressive,” she told Entin during the interview.

She expressed similar sentiments about Robinson’s intellectual capabilities, describing him as extraordinarily bright.

The woman lamented the tragic waste of potential, characterizing both men as having promising futures ahead of them before the assassination occurred.

When pressed to explain what factors might have led to Robinson’s alleged actions, the family member acknowledged she lacks clear answers.

She pointed to their isolated lifestyle and online activities as potential contributing factors.

“I don’t know. And then being as antisocial as they were, from my understanding of, you know, playing these games and being a part of this, this Discord group, you know, it just there—they didn’t seem like they were in the real world,” she explained.

The woman revealed that Twiggs received FBI security detail during the initial weeks after the assassination took place.

The protection was implemented because threats mounted against members of his family in the aftermath of the incident. However, she confirmed that those security measures have since been discontinued.

Twiggs currently resides with his family members, no longer under federal protection despite the earlier concerns for his safety.

Regarding Twiggs’ cooperation with investigators, the relative painted a picture of reluctant compliance rather than voluntary assistance.

She noted that authorities had to actively bring him in for questioning rather than Twiggs coming forward independently.

“I don’t know. You know, when I first found out about how he was taken in and then talked to by the police that it, you know, I know that they said that he was very cooperative, but they had to go get him and bring him in. He didn’t voluntarily go in and say, ‘hey, I heard about this, and I have some knowledge,’ you know,” she stated.

She emphasized that while Twiggs complied with requests from law enforcement, his cooperation came only after being compelled.

He provided materials and information when officials asked for them, but did not offer evidence proactively.

“He had to go in, then he had to, he handed things over when they asked for him, but he wasn’t—he didn’t give up any information until he had to,” the family member said.
