Woke MLB Team’s Wild ICE Claim Debunked Immediately

The Los Angeles Dodgers organization found itself at the center of a federal law enforcement controversy Thursday morning when the team announced it had refused entry to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at Dodger Stadium.

The baseball franchise issued a public statement on social media platform X detailing the morning encounter with federal officials.

The organization maintained that ICE personnel had requested access to stadium parking facilities but were turned away by team management.

“This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots,” the Dodgers stated in their official communication.

The team emphasized that federal agents “were denied entry to the grounds by the organization.”

Despite the morning incident, the Dodgers confirmed that evening game operations would proceed without disruption.

“Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled,” the statement concluded.

Federal agencies quickly responded to the Dodgers’ public announcement with conflicting accounts of the Thursday morning events.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provided its own version of what transpired at the stadium.

“This had nothing to do with the Dodgers,” a DHS spokesperson declared.

The agency characterized the presence of federal vehicles as brief and unrelated to enforcement activities.

DHS further clarified that “CBP vehicles were in the stadium parking lot very briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement.”

ICE officials took a more direct approach in disputing the baseball team’s account.

The agency’s official social media presence categorically denied any involvement at Dodger Stadium.

“False. We were never there,” ICE posted on X in response to the Dodgers’ initial statement.

The conflicting statements between the Dodgers organization and federal agencies created confusion about what actually occurred Thursday morning.

The incident unfolded against the backdrop of expanded immigration enforcement operations under the Trump administration.

Federal agencies have increased raid activities in major metropolitan areas across the United States, according to The Post Millennial (TPM) reporting.

Social media reactions to the Dodgers’ announcement revealed sharp divisions among sports fans and political observers.

Some users expressed strong opposition to the team’s decision to deny federal agents access.

“Boycott this team. Everyone involved should be arrested for harboring illegals,” one social media user wrote in response to the Dodgers’ post.

TPM highlighted that other critics connected the current controversy to previous disputes involving the Dodgers organization.

Some referenced the team’s decision to honor a controversial drag performance group that had drawn criticism from religious communities.

“FYI, I bailed on the Dodgers after the Catholic mockery they sponsored,” another user commented, referring to the team’s recognition of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.”

The drag group had previously faced accusations of mocking Catholic religious practices.

Resist the Mainstream reported back in October 2024 that CatholicVote called on Vice President Kamala Harris to denounce a drag queen group.

The conservative Catholic group launched an ad featuring Harris at a 2019 San Francisco Pride event, posing with a member of the drag group.

The ad depicts the group’s members incorporating the cross with sexual acts while the narrarator says that they are displaying “imitation of Roman Catholic nuns that intentionally mock and degrade Christians.“

It added that “Kamala Harris stands with they/them, not with you.”
