Vance Shares Prediction After Trump’s Epstein Letter Released

House Democrats released a screenshot Monday showing what appears to be a handwritten letter bearing President Donald Trump’s signature, allegedly sent to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday celebration in 2003.

The document was included among a collection of birthday messages that Epstein received two decades ago.

The letter contains a conversation between Trump and Epstein written inside what appears to be a hand-drawn outline of a woman’s torso.

Trump’s signature appears directly below the hip area of the drawing.

The House Oversight Committee’s Democratic minority shared the image on their official X account Monday afternoon.

Vice President J.D. Vance launched a fierce defense of Trump against recent Wall Street Journal reporting, calling the publication’s coverage “bogus” and accusing the paper of conducting a coordinated character assassination campaign.

“I have no idea if the book exists–WSJ won’t show it to us. I have no idea if the letter exists–WSJ won’t show it to us,” Vance stated in a post on X.

The veep argued that major American newspapers should reveal the basis for attacks on sitting presidents before publication.

“What I find absurd is the idea that Donald Trump was writing poems to Epstein, and I find it equally absurd that a major American paper would attack the President of the United States without revealing the basis for the attack,” Vance declared.

He continued, “We all know what’s going to happen. They’re going to dribble little details out for days or weeks in an effort to assassinate the president’s character.”

The post from the Democratic committee members stated: “HERE IT IS: We got Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn’t exist.”

The release represents the first public viewing of the controversial document. “How will Trump ever recover,” Jack Posobiec mockingly said following its release.

The screenshot released by House Democrats appears to match exactly the description provided in a Wall Street Journal report from mid-July, CNBC noted.

The newspaper was the first news organization to uncover the existence of what they characterized as a “bawdy” message.

Trump vehemently denied authoring the letter when the Journal’s report first surfaced in July.

He stated at the time: “These are not my words, not the way I talk.”

Following the Wall Street Journal’s initial reporting, Trump took immediate legal action against the publication.

He filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit targeting both the newspaper and media executive Rupert Murdoch.

CNBC further noted that the House Oversight Committee has been conducting a bipartisan investigation into records connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

Both Democratic and Republican committee members are examining documents related to the deceased financier.

Epstein maintained extensive connections throughout high-profile political and business circles before his death.

The wealthy financier cultivated relationships with numerous prominent figures over several decades.

In 2019, Epstein is said to have died by suicide while in federal custody at a New York detention facility.

He was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges at the time of his death.
