Two Illegal Immigrants Accused of Brutally Beating, Mugging Times Square Tourist Outside 4-Star Hotel

Police sources indicate that two suspects wanted for the brutal beating and mugging of a tourist outside a Times Square hotel, are believed to be illegal immigrants who were living in shelters.

According to police appeals and sources, the two suspects are wanted for assaulting a 44-year-old man from Indiana outside the four-star Club Quarters Hotel on West 45th Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. on May 10.

They allegedly punched and kicked the tourist during the brutal assault.

The suspects fled on foot after stealing the victim’s phone and wallet, according to police.

The pair are believed to have been staying at nearby migrant hotel shelters.

The victim declined medical attention after the assault, police said.

Police released surveillance images of the two suspects Sunday in the hopes of tracking them down.
