Trump’s Madison Square Garden Rally Sells Out in Record-Breaking 3 Hours — Thousands Still Expected to Flood NYC

Former President Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, scheduled for Sunday, October 27, sold out in under three hours, according to Trump himself. In an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday, Trump shared his excitement about the event, which will mark a significant moment in his 2024 campaign for the presidency.

“We sold it out in less than three hours. But people are going to come anyway. We have big screens outside. It’s going to be unbelievable. So come anyway. I mean, come, maybe you get in, I don’t know, but it sold out very quickly,” Trump told Boyle. He added, “It’s fantastic. It’s going to be fantastic.”

Even though tickets are no longer available, Trump encouraged people to come to the event, promising large screens outside the venue for those unable to secure a seat inside.

The Trump campaign has positioned this rally as a major moment in his effort to rally support, particularly in light of the economic challenges facing New Yorkers under Democratic leadership. A recent post on Trump’s campaign website criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and New York City Mayor Eric Adams for what it called disastrous economic policies, which the campaign claims have put significant financial strain on New York households.

“Since Kamala took office, the average New York household has been forced to spend an additional $28,537, including $4,282 more on food, $4,918 more on shelter, $3,992 more on energy, and $8,912 more on transportation,” the campaign stated. These rising costs, Trump argues, are a direct result of Democratic governance and are key issues he plans to address as he continues his run for the presidency.

While New York is a traditionally Democratic stronghold and is unlikely to shift in favor of Trump on Election Day, the rally at Madison Square Garden holds symbolic weight for his campaign. Hosting such an event at one of the most iconic venues in the country signals Trump’s confidence and determination to push his message to a wide audience.

Trump’s senior advisor, Jason Miller, emphasized the importance of the Madison Square Garden event. “The Madison Square Garden event that we have a week from tomorrow will be the formal introduction of the closing debate that we’re gonna have here, the closing framing of this race, the choice between the two candidates,” Miller told reporters at a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, last weekend, according to CNN.

With Election Day rapidly approaching, this event is set to be one of Trump’s key moments to energize his base, offering his final pitch to voters before they head to the polls. For Trump, the sold-out rally represents both a show of strength and a key platform to emphasize his critiques of the current administration while reaffirming his vision for America’s future.
