Trump Unveils Massive Promise After Charlie Kirk Death

President Donald Trump addressed the assassination of Charlie Kirk from the Oval Office Wednesday night.

He said Kirk was “a man of deep faith,” adding that America can “take peace knowing that he is now with God in heaven.”

Trump then warned that “for years, the radical left has compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis.”

“This type of language is directly responsible for the terrorism we’re seeing in our country today,” the president continued. “And it must stop RIGHT NOW!”

His message included a fiery promise: “My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials and everyone else who brings order to our country.”

During another part of the White House video, Trump said, “I am filled with grief and anger at the  heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah.”

“Charlie inspired millions, tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror.”

Trump added, “From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives.”

“Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died, the values of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law.”

Trump then reiterated much of what was said in his Truth Social post following the tragic killing, stating that Kirk’s “legacy will live on for countless generations to come.”

“Today, because of this heinous act, Charlie’s voice has become bigger and grander than ever before, and it’s not even close. May God bless his memory. May God watch over his family.”

FBI Director Kash Patel had confirmed on X earlier that a second suspect in the fatal shooting was in custody, however, the Daily Mail has reported that that person has been released.

Officials have nevertheless promised to provide updates as the investigation continues.

The shooting occurred during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University, tragically claiming Kirk’s life.

Law enforcement is urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward as the investigation remains active.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox also confirmed the news in a press conference.

“We have a person of interest in custody that is being interviewed right now,” he said. 

“There is no information that would lead us to believe that there is a second person involved.”

Resist the Mainstream reported earlier Wednesday that prior to the update, Cox added, “And I just want to remind people that we still have the death penalty here in the state of Utah.”
