Trump to BAN trans people in US Armed Forces, DEI programs with new executive order

President Donald Trump is set to sign executive orders on Monday that will ban transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military and eliminate all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs across the armed forces.

The first executive order reverses a Biden-era policy that allowed transgender individuals to serve openly in the military. According to the New York Post, the order will outline policies on gender identity and pronoun usage, citing concerns about mental health and physical readiness as reasons for the ban.

“Unit cohesion requires high levels of integrity and stability among service members,” a draft of the order states. The Department of Defense has been directed to implement the policy immediately after Trump signs the order.

Newly confirmed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who has vowed to remove what he calls “woke” policies in the military, is expected to oversee the rollout.

The order emphasizes physical and mental readiness, stating, “There can be no accommodation for anything less than resilience, strength, and the ability to withstand extraordinary physical demands. Individuals unable to meet these requirements are not fit to serve. This has been the standard for decades.”

The document also highlights the logistical and medical challenges associated with transgender service members. “It can take a minimum of 12 months for an individual to complete treatments after transition surgery, often involving heavy narcotics. During this period, they are not physically capable of meeting military readiness requirements and require ongoing medical care. This is not conducive to deployment or other readiness requirements,” the order explains.

While the exact number of transgender individuals currently serving in active or reserve military roles is unclear, estimates suggest the figure may be around 15,000.

In addition to the transgender ban, Trump’s orders will also target DEI programs within the armed forces. The new policy prohibits “invented and identification-based pronouns” and removes DEI initiatives that the administration argues undermine military cohesion and effectiveness.

“Today’s Order moves our military away from this dark period and renews esprit de corps, readiness, and focus,” the document reads. “It returns the Pentagon to the warfighter and combats ideologies that seek to divide our Armed Forces by race, sex, or other immutable characteristics.”

Hegseth, who was confirmed as Secretary of Defense on Friday with a 51-50 vote following a tie-breaking vote by Vice President JD Vance, has pledged to dismantle DEI initiatives in the military entirely.

“The focus of our armed forces must be on strength, unity, and mission-readiness—not divisive ideologies,” Hegseth said in a statement.

These orders are expected to spark significant controversy, with proponents citing the need for military readiness and opponents arguing that the policies discriminate against marginalized groups.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.

There is no such things as a ‘TRANS’ person. Your chromosomes do not lie.

XX = WOMAN
XY = MAN

There are VERY RARE exceptions when nature goes wrong.

What The Donald is actually banning is open, public TRANS-VESTITISM.

Bravo Zulu Donald!

It’s long gone time when we stopped pandering to this mental illness.
