Trump Suffers Utter Chaos

President Donald Trump is taking a hit as new polling shows his approval rating sinking to its lowest point yet amid the Iran war and rising gas prices.

A Daily Mail/JL Partners poll found Trump’s approval now sits at 42%.

That’s down from 44% earlier this month and 48% in late January.

The drop comes as voters grow increasingly frustrated with both foreign policy and the economy.

Inflation is leading the backlash.

A full 44% of voters said rising costs are the top reason they disapprove of Trump. That’s up from 38% just weeks ago.

Gas prices have surged alongside the war, climbing from $2.90 per gallon to around $3.90 nationwide.

The Iran conflict is also driving dissatisfaction.

28% of respondents said the war is their main reason for disapproval.

That number has jumped from 20% earlier this month.

Public support for the war is now collapsing.

Just 33% of voters support the military action, while 49% oppose it.

Earlier in the conflict, support and opposition were nearly even.

Even Trump’s base is starting to shift. Support among his voters dropped from 75% to 61%.

Opposition within his own base more than doubled to 22%.

Blame is also shifting toward Trump.

54% of voters say they would hold him responsible if gas prices keep rising.

Only 20% point the finger at Iran.

Voters are also showing little tolerance for prolonged conflict.

Just 19% said they would accept a $1 increase in gas prices to win the war.

Even fewer, 12%, said they’d tolerate a $2 increase.

Casualty tolerance is even lower.

Only 13% said up to 100 American deaths would be acceptable.

That number drops to just 9% for 1,000 deaths, per the Daily Mail.

Economic confidence is now slipping fast.

54% of voters say the economy is getting worse.

Only 16% believe it’s improving.

That’s a sharp drop from last month.

The war itself is becoming politically toxic.

36% of voters say striking Iran was the right move.

48% say it was the wrong decision.

Independents are turning especially hard.

They oppose the war 50% to 24%.

Democrats are even more unified, with 76% against the conflict.

Despite the drop, Trump continues to defend the operation.

“We’re doing extremely well in Iran,” Trump said.

But the numbers suggest voters aren’t buying it.

The political fallout could extend beyond Trump.

Vice President J.D. Vance is now polling at 47%, five points higher than the president.

As the war drags on and prices rise, the pressure is only building.
