Trump Suffers Disturbing Attack

President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, has officially been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker after describing frightening encounters involving a homeless man she says repeatedly targeted her in South Florida.

According to court filings and reports first highlighted by TMZ, the 19-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump filed a petition in Florida against 26-year-old Gabriel Garza Jr. back in April.

During a court hearing, Kai reportedly described Garza as a homeless man living out of his car around Jupiter and Palm Beach County, Florida.

A judge initially approved a temporary restraining order before later extending it during a May 14 hearing. The order will now remain active until May 2027.

Under the ruling, Garza is prohibited from stalking, cyberstalking or committing any criminal act that could result in physical harm or death against Kai Trump.

The restraining order additionally bars him from coming within 500 feet of her residence, workplace or other designated locations tied to her daily activities.

The protections will also reportedly extend to the University of Miami, where Kai recently announced she plans to attend college after graduating high school earlier this month.

Court proceedings surrounding the case were briefly delayed after Kai requested that an earlier hearing be rescheduled so she would not miss her final day of high school.

The situation marks the second major stalking-related incident involving Kai Trump in less than a year.

Back in June 2025, another man, Anthony Thomas Reyes, allegedly scaled the walls surrounding Mar-a-Lago while searching for Kai.

Authorities said Reyes later told officers he wanted to marry Trump’s granddaughter and also hoped to speak with President Trump about “the gospel.”

At the time of that incident, Trump was in Washington while Kai was reportedly vacationing in the Bahamas.

Kai has become one of the most publicly recognizable members of the Trump family in recent years, especially after emerging prominently during Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

The teenage golfer frequently appeared at campaign rallies, political events and on social media, where she amassed a large online following by sharing personal moments involving her grandfather and behind-the-scenes glimpses of the Trump family, per the Daily Mail.

The restraining order news also comes during a difficult personal period for the Trump family.

Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump, recently revealed publicly that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had already undergone a medical procedure as part of her treatment plan.

Despite the family stress, Kai recently celebrated her high school graduation and publicly committed to attending the University of Miami.

In a social media post honoring her mother, Kai described Vanessa as “the strongest person I know.”

Meanwhile, the broader Trump family has remained heavily in the spotlight following the recent marriage of Donald Trump Jr. to Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas.

Reports indicate the couple may eventually hold an additional wedding celebration at the White House so President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump can attend.
