Trump Rebukes US Ally With Nasty Insult

A forthcoming book on President Donald Trump’s second term alleges he had an expletive-filled confrontation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during negotiations over a Gaza peace agreement in 2025.

The account appears in Regime Change, a book by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.

According to the authors, the exchange occurred during a September 2025 phone call as Trump sought to broker a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The call reportedly included Netanyahu, White House envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The book alleges tensions escalated after an Israeli military strike on Qatar complicated negotiations.

According to the authors, Trump became increasingly frustrated with Netanyahu during the discussion.

The book claims Trump told the Israeli prime minister, “Everybody’s sick of you, Bibi. All the Jews are sick of you.”

It further alleges Trump added, “Even the two Jews on this call are sick of you,” referring to Kushner and Witkoff.

According to the book, Kushner later told an ally, “I’m f***ing out. The Israelis are crazy.”

The authors write that Trump urged Netanyahu not to abandon the proposed agreement.

“You can’t back out of this. I’m the best friend Israel ever had,” Trump allegedly said.

“Everybody hates you, and I’ve stood by you. This is a great deal for Israel,” the book quotes Trump as saying.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump and Netanyahu publicly announced the agreement two days after the reported phone call.

The White House did not dispute the reported conversation when contacted by the publication.

Instead, it emphasized the close relationship between Trump and Netanyahu and reaffirmed the partnership between the U.S. and Israel, including cooperation during military operations against Iran.

Netanyahu’s office had not publicly commented on the reported exchange.

The allegations come amid reports of growing differences between the two leaders over Middle East policy.

In recent weeks, Trump has publicly criticized the scale of Israeli military operations in Lebanon while urging restraint as his administration pursued broader regional negotiations.

Vice President J.D. Vance has also publicly defended the administration’s diplomatic efforts while criticizing some members of Netanyahu’s governing coalition, per the Daily Mail.

Speaking during a recent White House briefing, Vance said Israeli officials should recognize the importance of maintaining support from the U.S.

He later questioned whether military force alone could resolve Israel’s long-term security challenges.

The reported exchange is one of several previously undisclosed conversations detailed in Regime Change, which examines internal White House deliberations during Trump’s second term.

The book, authored by Haberman and Swan, is scheduled for release this week.

Neither the White House nor Netanyahu’s office has publicly confirmed the specific remarks attributed to Trump in the book.

The reported conversation remains based on the authors’ account of events described in the forthcoming publication.
