Trump Foes Freed in Major Bombshell

In a significant blow to President Donald Trump, a judge has dismissed the cases against the president’s foes, former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Both Comey and James have been fierce opponents of Trump.

James, specifically, indicted Trump in 2024 on 34 counts of falsifying business records. The president dismissed such an indictment as politically driven at the time. The case was eventually thrown out after he was elected president.

In what some considered retribution, Trump ordered the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate James on mortgage fraud allegations and Comey on charges of making a false statement to Congress, obstructing an official congressional proceeding and breaching public trust.

Trump’s attorney, Lindsey Halligan, was primarily responsible for securing the indictments against James and Comey.

However, according to Judge Cameron Currie, Halligan engaged in “prosecutorial misconduct.”

“I conclude that all actions flowing from Ms Halligan’s defective appointment, including securing and signing Mr Comey’s indictment, constitute unlawful exercises of executive power and must be set aside,” Currie, appointed by then-President Bill Clinton, said.

As the Daily Mail pointed out, James and Comey asked that their cases be dismissed over Halligan’s appointment. Specifically, they requested that their cases be dismissed with prejudice, meaning the DOJ would not be able to bring the same charges against them.

James celebrated Currie’s ruling and said she remains “fearless.”

“I am heartened by today’s victory and grateful for the prayers and support I have received from around the country,” the New York attorney general said. “I remain fearless in the face of these baseless charges as I continue fighting for New Yorkers every single day.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi reacted to Currie’s ruling and vowed to appeal.

“We’ll be taking all available legal action, including an immediate appeal, to hold Letitia James and James Comey accountable for their unlawful conduct,” Bondi said.

Currie’s bombshell ruling comes after Trump released a private message he sent to Bondi in September, urging her to speed up the investigations of his political foes.

In the story, the president said he had seen a plethora of “statements” that said the investigations were not taking place and that the DOJ was “all talk.”

“‘Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, Leticia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done,’” Trump said, citing posts.

“We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility,” Trump told Bondi. “They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!”
