President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner is facing renewed scrutiny after journalist Karen Piper shared allegations linking him to a man described as a hired assassin, along with questions concerning an alleged $80 million financial transfer.
Piper posted the claims on X on October 24, identifying the alleged operative as Felipe Vidal, whom she said also uses other names.
“The hitman Jared Kushner allegedly paid is Felipe Vidal, who also uses other aliases,” Piper wrote.
Her post included an image of what appeared to be questions and responses from a legal document involving Kushner.
The material raised questions about his purported connections to Vidal, a bank account in the United Arab Emirates and a substantial transfer reportedly made in 2019.
However, the document excerpt did not establish that Kushner paid anyone to commit a killing or participated in criminal activity.
In the first visible response, Kushner denied having any relationship with Vidal.
“Mr. Kushner does not and did not have any relationship with Felipe Vidal, much less a financial relationship,” the response stated.
It further maintained that Kushner did not know Vidal, had never interacted with him and had no involvement with him.
The document then presented questions about whether Kushner understood Vidal’s alleged role in a UAE bank account to which Kushner purportedly had access.
Another question referred to the transfer of at least $80 million from that account to Vidal in 2019.
The excerpt did not provide documentation establishing that the transaction occurred or identifying who authorized any transfer.
Additional questions alleged that Vidal had worked for both the CIA and Mossad at different points in his career.
The final visible question concerned an allegation that Vidal participated in the 2010 assassination of a Hamas commander in Dubai.
Those assertions appeared as questions rather than established findings, and the excerpt provided no supporting evidence confirming Vidal’s alleged intelligence activities or involvement in the killing.
The screenshot also did not identify the underlying proceeding, the origin of the document or whether the questions had been independently authenticated.
Piper’s social media post nevertheless drew attention because of the seriousness of the accusations involving a former senior White House adviser.
Kushner served in Trump’s first administration and has maintained close family ties to the president through his marriage to Ivanka Trump.
The allegations concern purported events in 2019, during Kushner’s tenure as a presidential adviser.
No criminal charges, judicial findings or verified financial records establishing the alleged arrangement were included in the material Piper shared.
The visible response attributed to Kushner directly contradicted the suggestion that he maintained a relationship with Vidal.
For now, the claims remain unverified allegations circulating online.
The available document excerpt establishes that questions were raised about Kushner and Vidal, but it does not demonstrate that the alleged payments, intelligence connections or criminal conduct occurred.
