Conservative commentator Candace Owens is accusing President Donald Trump of wanting the Nobel Peace Prize by allowing Israel to ethnically cleanse Gaza.
Owens has been engulfed in wide-scale controversy over the past couple of years following her departure from the Daily Wire.
She has spread a plentiful amount of anti-Israel sentiment online, making her one of the most controversial figures on the internet since Israel and Hamas have been engaged in war since Oct. 7, 2023.
Now, Owens is attacking Trump, accusing him of wanting a peace prize by obliterating Gaza.
“Trump wants a Nobel Prize for the planned ethnic cleansing of Gaza they can profit off of and turn into a beach town… every family set to inherit what they did will be cursed… when they build a Trump Hotel there, I caution to stay far away from that cursed land,” she said.
Trump announced on Sunday that the war between Israel and Hamas is over.
The president is en route to the Middle East and Egypt to sign a peace agreement between both sides, which have been at war with one another for 2 years.
Despite his groundbreaking effort to secure peace in the Middle East, he did not receive the Nobel Peace Prize, which was instead given to Venezuelan anti-communist activist Maria Corina Machado.
Nonetheless, Owens is making a serious accusation against the president.
The outspoken conservative firebrand has consistently criticized the Israeli government, going as far as suggesting that Israel possibly has a plan “to kill 7 billion people.”
“It’s never too late to say Kanye [West] was right,” Owens said. “Never too late. I’d like to say that. Kanye was right … It’s how they treat people.”
Like Owens, rapper Kanye West, who goes by the name Ye, is not a big fan of the Jewish State.
Ye is one of the most controversial figures on the internet, given his support for Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, as NBC News reported.
“I love Hitler,” Ye said on X earlier this year.
The famed artist has also said that he has Jewish friends, none of whom he trusts.
“Some of my best friends are Jewish and I don’t trust any of them,” he said.
Owen’s latest remarks about Trump and Gaza were met with support from many on X.
Some went on to claim that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who was a key figure in securing the historic Abraham Accords, would “scout” potential business ideas in Gaza.
“I agree with Candace… Jared Kushner is likely to scout and discuss potential opportunities along the Gaza coastline during his current visit and to seek funding for future property developments… there will be hotels, condos, golf courses and more on this property…” DeSota Wilson said.
While some agreed with Owen’s claims, others accused her of spreading Nazi-like hate.
“The Far Left and the Far Right always intersect at Antisemitism Avenue. The comments to this post prove it. Candace Owens is guilty of spreading some truly Goebbels-level hate,” Russell Drew wrote.
