Trump Faces Bombshell Accusations in Explosive Scandal

ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith has issued a jaw-dropping accusation against President Donald Trump.

On Thursday, members of the National Basketball Association (NBA) were exposed in a high-profile gambling bust, involving coaches and players in the organization.

In fact, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) took action against the NBA and arrested those involved in the illegal scheme, as Resist the Mainstream previously reported.

Among those arrested were former Miami Heat player Terry Rozier, Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and former Cleveland Cavaliers player Damon Jones, among several others.

Smith, a Democrat, didn’t miss the opportunity to blame Trump for the scandal.

The outspoken ESPN commentator alleged that the NBA gambling bust was all part of a “revenge” plot by the president to distract from ongoing protests across the country.

Most notably, the “No Kings” protests are taking place across America by individuals opposing Trump’s policies and his reign as a so-called “king.”

Smith began his remarks by pointing out Trump’s longtime history in the sports world through the casinos he owned, as The Independent reported.

“Trump has a long, long history connected to the world of sports because he had those casinos. Where do you think folks were coming half the time? I’m not talking about individuals, I’m talking about the culture. When people want to go to a casino, when people wanna gamble, when people wanna party, or whatever the case may be, this was his kind of connection to that,” Smith said.

Smith then went on to allege that the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) could be Trump’s next target to distract the public from the ongoing protests.

“Don’t be surprised if the WNBA is next on his list, because when you’ve got all of these protests that have been going out there and people have been protesting against him and what have you, this man is coming,” the ESPN commentator said.

Smith’s bombshell accusations come days after Trump was asked about the “No Kings” protests across the U.S.

Trump made it very clear that he’s not a “king” and that he’s working extremely hard to improve Americans’ lives.

It should be noted that, unlike a king, the president has faced multiple judicial setbacks at the hands of Democratic judges who have prohibited the Trump administration from enacting some of its policies.

“I’m not a king. I work my a** off to make our country great,” Trump said.

Trump then claimed that the signs held by “No Kings” protesters were funded by Democratic megadonor George Soros.

“It’s a joke. I looked at the people…all the brand new signs. It was paid for by Soros and radical left lunatics…we’re checking that out. Very small, ineffective, and the people were WHACKED OUT. Not representative of the people of our country,” he said.
