Trump Drops Brutal One-Word Insult Against Top Fox News Host

President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack on Fox News personality Jessica Tarlov, calling the liberal co-host of “The Five” “dumb” while criticizing her commentary about his administration.

Trump has repeatedly taken aim at Tarlov, who regularly serves as the liberal counterweight to the conservative personalities on the highly rated Fox News program.

His criticism escalated after Tarlov discussed polling that portrayed Trump’s approval ratings negatively.

Trump pushed back against the numbers and accused the Fox News personality of using unfavorable polling to attack his administration.

The president described Tarlov as “dumb” and criticized her presence on the network, adding to a history of clashes between the two.

Tarlov frequently debates Trump’s policies and political record alongside conservative co-hosts including Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld and Dana Perino.

Trump has previously complained about her commentary and made clear that he is no fan of the Democratic strategist.

His attacks have at times gone beyond her political arguments.

In a separate broadside against Tarlov, Trump called her “one of the least attractive and talented people on television” and criticized her voice.

The president has also called for Fox News executives to take Tarlov off the air.

Tarlov, however, has remained a prominent presence on the network.

She joined Fox News as a contributor in 2017 and later became a rotating co-host of “The Five,” where she has emerged as one of the network’s most recognizable liberal commentators.

The program regularly features heated political debates, with Tarlov frequently finding herself outnumbered while defending Democratic positions or criticizing Trump and other Republicans.

Trump’s feud with Tarlov is part of a broader and sometimes complicated relationship between the president and Fox News.

Although Trump frequently praises the network and several of its conservative hosts, he has also publicly attacked Fox personalities when he believes their coverage is unfair or insufficiently supportive of his administration.

That tension resurfaced this week when Trump targeted “Fox News Sunday” anchor Shannon Bream.

Trump accused Bream of selecting guests, polling and graphics that portray his administration negatively and compared watching her program to watching CNN.

“Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He went on to accuse Bream and her program of being biased against MAGA, Trump and Republicans before declaring the show “beyond redemption.”

Trump even compared Bream unfavorably to former “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace.

“Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse,” Trump wrote.

The attacks on Bream and Tarlov demonstrate Trump’s willingness to publicly confront personalities at a network that maintains a large conservative audience.

Tarlov, meanwhile, has continued appearing on Fox News and criticizing Trump despite becoming a recurring target of the president.

Her role virtually guarantees continued clashes as she regularly challenges Trump’s policies and political messaging before an audience that includes millions of Republican and MAGA viewers.
