A former Lockheed Martin scientist made a stunning series of alien-related claims before his death, alleging that extraterrestrials, anti-gravity technology and secret UFO programs were being hidden deep inside Nevada’s infamous Area 51.
Boyd Bushman, an aerospace engineer and inventor who held dozens of patents tied to advanced military and aerospace technologies, sat down for what has since been described as a “death confession” shortly before he died in August 2014 at age 78.
During the interview with independent aerospace engineer Mark Q Patterson, Bushman displayed photographs he claimed showed real extraterrestrials allegedly operating at Area 51.
“They’re approximately five feet four inches to five feet tall,” Bushman said while holding up one of the images.
“One or two of them were around 230 years old, and we had at least 18 of them operating around the facility,” he claimed.
Bushman alleged that he maintained contact with individuals tied to highly classified programs connected to Area 51 and claimed he still possessed top-secret security clearance during the final years of his life.
According to Bushman, his involvement began after coming into contact with someone connected to legendary physicist Edward Teller, who Bushman claimed remained involved with secret projects tied to Area 51 even after J. Robert Oppenheimer was removed from operations there.
Bushman further claimed that insiders inside Area 51 provided him with photographs not only of alien beings but also of UFOs allegedly stored and studied at the facility.
“This is a UFO that is ready to take off,” Bushman said while displaying another image.
“These things pick up and fly using anti-gravity,” he claimed.
He additionally alleged that the craft were approximately 38 feet in diameter and composed partly of cobalt, germanium and gadolinium.
Among the most bizarre claims, Bushman insisted that extraterrestrials housed at Area 51 came from a planet called “Quintumnia” located 68 light-years away from Earth, though he claimed they could reach Earth in just 45 minutes using advanced propulsion systems.
Bushman also described what he claimed was a hidden underground shaft beneath Area 51 specifically designed for UFO takeoffs and landings.
The former engineer went even further by alleging that dozens of Americans had died attempting to reverse-engineer alien technology.
“There’s been a total of 39 U.S. citizens who have lost their lives trying to reverse engineer UFOs,” Bushman claimed.
“Last one I heard of was a year and a half ago, where we lost 19 lives in one test,” he added.
Despite the explosive nature of the claims, there remains no publicly verified evidence supporting Bushman’s allegations about extraterrestrials or hidden UFO programs inside Area 51.
Skeptics have long argued that the supposed alien photographs Bushman presented resembled commercially available prop dolls that could be purchased online.
Still, Bushman’s background has continued fueling fascination and speculation for years because of his legitimate work in advanced aerospace and military research, per the Daily Mail.
Throughout his career, Bushman held patents tied to missile detection systems, electromagnetic propulsion concepts, infrared signature reduction technology, experimental aircraft designs and advanced military targeting systems.
The resurfacing of Bushman’s interview comes as the Trump administration has recently increased attention surrounding UFO disclosure efforts and the release of previously classified government files involving unidentified anomalous phenomena.
