Top Trump Official’s Wife Enters Attack Mode

Conservative podcaster Katie Miller confronted CNN NewsNight host Abby Phillip during a Friday broadcast, challenging the host over her failure to defend Miller’s husband from inflammatory accusations made by guests on the network.

The confrontation occurred when former Rep. Bakari Sellers (D-SC) questioned Miller about Nick Fuentes being interviewed by Tucker Carlson.

Sellers asked Miller directly whether she approved of Fuentes, a controversial figure in American politics.

Miller, who identifies as Jewish and served in the Trump administration, responded by defending free speech principles.

She stated that while Fuentes has the right to speak freely in America, she absolutely does not agree with his views.

The exchange escalated when Miller turned her attention to host Phillip.

She accused the CNN anchor of regularly platforming guests who make serious accusations against her husband without offering any contradiction or defense.

Miller specifically called out Phillip for hosting left-leaning podcast host and former reality television personality Jennifer Welch.

According to Miller, Welch has repeatedly labeled Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, a white nationalist during appearances on the program.

The Millers have experienced significant personal consequences from political targeting.

They were forced to relocate from their Arlington, Virginia home after enduring a sustained harassment campaign, Resist the Mainstream previously reported.

The harassment included messages written on public sidewalks near their residence.

These messages contained phrases criticizing Stephen Miller’s role in government and making various political statements.

Adding to their security concerns, flyers containing the Miller family’s home address were distributed in the area.

During the CNN panel discussion, Miller drew a parallel between the two situations.

She argued that if Phillip criticizes Tucker Carlson for not challenging Fuentes during an interview, the same standard should apply to her own show.

Conservative panelist Scott Jennings participated in the discussion, with both he and Miller describing Fuentes’s views as hateful.

Phillip attempted to distinguish between the two scenarios but was interrupted by Miller.

The CNN host suggested there was a difference between the situations before Miller pressed her point further.

Miller emphasized the double standard she perceives in media coverage.

She questioned why controversial guests appearing on conservative platforms receive intense scrutiny while similar rhetoric directed at conservatives on mainstream networks goes unchallenged.

The podcaster returned to her central argument after additional exchanges with other panelists.

She stated that Fuentes can express opinions on Carlson’s program without pushback the same way guests on Phillip’s show have called members of her family serious names without correction.
