‘The View’ Hit With Devastating Threat Over Anti-Trump Rant

It appears that CBS’s Stephen Colbert will not be the only left-leaning talk show host to lose his show, with a White House spokesperson revealing that ABC’s “The View” could very well face cancellation soon.

The revelation came after “The View” co-host Joy Behar went on a fierce anti-Trump rant on Wednesday, where she accused the president of trying to “overthrow” the government on Jan. 6, 2021.

“First of all, who tried to overthrow the government on Jan. 6?” Behar said.

“Who was that again? That was not Obama. The thing about him is he’s so jealous of Obama, because Obama is everything that he is not: Trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing Al Green’s song ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green. And Trump cannot stand it. It’s driving him crazy. Green is not a good color,” she added.

Behar’s criticism of Trump came after the president accused former President Barack Obama of deliberately leading the false Russia-collusion hoax.

As a result of her rant, White House spokesman Taylor Rogers pointed out the show’s subpar ratings and noted that it could be removed from the air if Behar does not stop attacking the president.

Rogers did not hold back in his criticism of Behar, calling her an “insufferable loser.”

“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It’s no surprise that ‘The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off-air,” he said.

In response to Rogers’ comments, a spokesperson for “The View” defended the show, claiming it was not struggling in ratings and that it “is ranking No. 1 in households and total viewers among all network daytime talk shows and news programs for the fifth straight season.”

As Fox News pointed out, Rogers’ statement came a week after CBS cancelled Colbert’s show.

Colbert, a known liberal, would oftentimes criticize Trump, similar to his counterparts: Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Conan O’Brien.

Trump celebrated Colbert’s cancellation, saying that the talk show host had less talent than ratings.

“I absolutely love that Colbert got fired,” Trump said. “His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert! Greg Gutfeld is better than all of them combined, including the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show.”

Colbert fired back at Trump’s comments.

“How dare you, sir?” Colbert said in response. “Would an untalented man be able to compose the following satirical witticism? Go f*ck yourself.”

CBS said that the cancellation was “purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night.”

“It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,” the network said, per Fox News.
