James O’Keefe has released undercover video footage featuring a former high-ranking music industry executive making explosive allegations about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The footage shows claims that Combs allegedly used compromising material from his parties to manipulate record deals and blacklist artists who didn’t cooperate.
The undercover investigation was conducted by O’Keefe Media Group (OMG).
The footage features Motti Shulman, who previously served as senior vice president of Rhythm Promotion at Atlantic Records.
Shulman also held positions at Def Jam Records during his career in the music industry.
In the hidden camera footage, Shulman spoke with an undercover journalist from O’Keefe Media Group.
During the conversation, he made serious allegations about Combs’ influence over artists’ professional trajectories within the music business.
According to Shulman’s statements in the video, Combs wielded power that extended far beyond typical industry influence.
He alleged that Combs could determine whether artists secured record deals or faced being shut out of opportunities entirely.
“[Combs] had more to do than just whether you got a record deal or not, like, he could blacklist you,” Shulman stated in the footage.
He went on to describe how this alleged control mechanism operated within the industry.
Shulman claimed that Combs’ parties served a dual purpose.
While they appeared to be entertainment events with attractive amenities, he alleged they functioned as opportunities to gather compromising material on attendees.
“Especially after you went to one of his parties and it seemed fun, and there were girls and drugs, but now he’s got you on video doing weird sh*t,” Shulman told the undercover journalist.
This statement suggests Combs allegedly maintained footage from these gatherings.
The former Atlantic Records executive also characterized Combs negatively during the conversation.
Shulman described him as a “f***ing ass**” and a “bad guy” in the recorded footage.
These allegations come as Combs faces serious legal consequences.
Last October, he received a prison sentence of 50 months after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The sentencing represented a significant reduction from what prosecutors had requested.
Federal prosecutors had sought a sentence exceeding 11 years for Combs based on the conviction. However, the presiding judge determined that the prosecution’s recommended sentence was excessive.
The judge ruled that a sentence of more than 11 years was “not reasonable” given the circumstances of the case.

O’Keefe made headlines last week after exposing a Georgetown University adjunct professor using racist language to describe prominent black conservative figures.
Jonathan Franklin, scheduled to instruct students beginning in January 2026, referred to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas as “the biggest coon of them all” during the recorded conversation.
He also labeled Candace Owens “annoying” and “another coon” while speaking with the undercover operative.
Franklin described his university colleagues as a collection of “stupid white people” in the hidden camera footage.
