Wyatt Christopher Maxwell, also known as “Louis Whitaker,” a 25-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of child exploitation crimes.
The judge ordered that Maxwell be housed in a facility equipped to provide gender-affirming care. Maxwell was apprehended in Mexico, where he had been living under a false identity.
The investigation began in February 2021, following tips submitted to the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers. Reports accused Maxwell of producing child pornography involving a 16-year-old victim in Overland Park, Kansas.
Authorities discovered that Maxwell had been recording explicit videos of himself with the minor over several months. The recordings took place at his residence and in a nearby park.
Maxwell later uploaded the videos to platforms such as OnlyFans and JustForFans, earning significant financial gains.
When questioned, Maxwell admitted to creating approximately 20 videos involving the minor, many of which were uploaded to his accounts.
Financial records showed that Maxwell received over $49,000 from OnlyFans and nearly $3,000 from JustForFans.
A total of 153 videos were uploaded to his JustForFans account, with 16 of them explicitly depicting sexual acts with the minor.
Investigators found substantial evidence on Maxwell’s phone, including 39 videos of child pornography and 96 videos and 24 images involving the child victim.
These materials were part of Maxwell’s broader exploitation of the minor, highlighting the calculated and deliberate nature of his actions.
After fleeing the United States, Maxwell was captured in Mexico, where he lived under a false identity. During his time in Puerto Vallarta, Maxwell maintained a high-profile lifestyle, performing at local venues and hosting themed events.
He was involved in activities such as managing a “Dicksicles” popsicle business and organizing novelty sushi dinners served on human bodies.
Maxwell has been sentenced to prison and is required to register as a sex offender upon release. Additionally, he has been ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.
The court’s directive to place Maxwell in a facility capable of providing gender-affirming care underscores the need to address his personal circumstances while serving his sentence.
Maxwell’s crimes have sparked outrage due to the calculated exploitation of a vulnerable minor and the financial gain he derived from these activities.
