Corey Lewandowski is working behind the scenes to manage the political fallout surrounding former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following a bombshell report about her husband’s secret online activities, sources tell the New York Post.
Bryon Noem, 56, an insurance executive, allegedly communicated with three women involved in the “bimbofication” fetish community — a subculture centered on an exaggeratedly feminine, Barbie-doll aesthetic — under the pseudonym “Jason Jackson.”
The Daily Mail reported it reviewed hundreds of messages in which Bryon Noem expressed admiration for exaggerated physical features and allegedly sent more than $25,000 to different women in the online community.
Photos published by the outlet show Bryon stuffing balloons into a tight-fitting shirt to simulate a large bust while posing with a pouty face, and wearing hot pink and pastel-colored biker shorts.
One model told the Daily Mail, “His kink is for huge, huge ridiculous boobs.”
In one message, Bryon Noem wrote to a sex worker, “You turn me into a girl,” before asking, “Should I put on leggings?”
A second model told the Mail that she once accidentally pocket-dialed “Jason” and heard a voicemail greeting that said, “Noem Insurance, leave a message.”
Bryon Noem made his fortune running a South Dakota-based insurance agency.
When contacted by the Daily Mail, Bryon Noem did not deny the explicit conversations or the photos, but rejected the suggestion that he had made indiscreet comments about his wife or endangered national security.
A spokesperson for Kristi Noem responded to the report in a statement: “Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.”
President Donald Trump, when asked about the reports, said, “They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad. I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”
Lewandowski, long reported to be a close ally and political adviser to Noem, has occupied a central role in her orbit for years. As of March 2026, Lewandowski served under Noem as her acting Chief of Staff in an unpaid special government employee position, until Noem was removed from the DHS.
Lewandowski was subsequently ousted from the Trump administration after he was spotted with Noem in Guyana during a five-country foreign tour.Sources told the New York Post that Trump disapproved of contract decisions Lewandowski had made.
The revelations about the Noems’ marriage cut sharply against the image the couple has long put forward — one of faith and traditional family values.
Kristi and Bryon are high school sweethearts who married in 1992 and have three adult children: daughters Kassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29, and a son, Booker, 23.
When allegations of Noem’s affair with Lewandowski surfaced during a congressional hearing, members of Bryon’s extended family told the New York Post that he felt it was his religious responsibility to stand by his wife.
“He said he decided about 20 years ago that it was his calling from God to support her in whatever she decided to do,” one family member said.
Noem had moved into a Coast Guard house at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, claiming she needed protection after receiving threats.
She told the House Judiciary Committee, “I rent that facility. I rent where I stay and pay personal dollars to do that.”
A top Republican strategist who knows both Noem and Lewandowski told the Post, “He’s a survivor.” Noem has since been named special envoy for the “Shield of the Americas” initiative following her departure from DHS.
