Melania Trump Unveils Massive Career Move

First Lady Melania Trump has made many changes throughout her life. From leaving the modeling runway to joining her husband in politics, the first lady will now enter the entertainment industry.

Trump announced that her new film, “Melania,” will be released in movie theaters across the country next year.

“PRESENTING: MUSE FILMS My new production company. MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026,” she wrote on X.

The film, as the name indicates, is a documentary of the first lady.

It is described as “An intimate chronicle offers a rare glimpse into the life of Melania Trump, exploring her role as First Lady and her relationship with the former president,” according to IMDB.

Melania sat down for an interview with Fox & Friends in January, where she shared details of her upcoming film.

“We started the production in November, and we are shooting right now, so it’s a day-to-day life, what I’m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have,” Melania said at the time.

“It’s day-to-day, from transition team to moving to the White House, packing, establishing my team, the first lady office, moving into the White House, what it takes to make the residence your home, to hire the people that you need,” she added.

Amazon paid $40 million in licensing for the movie, per the New York Post.

As the Guardian pointed out, Amazon’s founder, Jeff Bezos, attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January.

Melania’s announcement on X was met with praise from many.

“Well this is different. We never had @FLOTUS in the @WhiteHouse with a new production company. This is a giant leap for women. Unpaid spouses of past Presidents was the norm,” one user said.

“Please make films great again. People used to have releases to look forward to and then we would all talk about the same thing for a while and the world buzzed with joy. Cinema is the lifeblood of the world,” another user wrote.

The first lady’s announcement comes after her extensive modeling career in the 1990s, for which she was mostly known. After her husband’s shocking presidential victory in 2016 against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Melania’s life changed forever as she dove into the world of politics as first lady.

As first lady, Melania has signed multiple bipartisan humanitarian-related legislations and has been applauded by Republicans and Democrats for her efforts. In May, she signed the “Take it Down Act” alongside the president.

“Today, through the ‘TAKE IT DOWN’ Act, we affirm that the well-being of our children is central to the future of our families and America. I am proud to say that the values of BE BEST will be reflected in the law of the land,” she said then.

The White House described the measure as “a historic and bipartisan new law focused on protecting children and families from online extortion and exploitation through the non-consensual distribution of intimate images and deepfake abuse.”
