MAGA Death Fear Scandal Erupts

Tucker Carlson was dragged into the Olivia Nuzzi scandal this week after her ex-fiancé Ryan Lizza claimed the former Fox News host once warned Nuzzi she should fear for her life over her affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

According to Lizza, Nuzzi allegedly told friends she was terrified that “Bobby will kill me” if word of their relationship ever leaked.

Lizza made the claims in the latest installment of his Substack, where he laid out how Kennedy’s team tried to keep the explosive affair buried.

He pointed to Gavin de Becker, a well-known and controversial security adviser, calling him “terrifying” and alleging that he monitored Nuzzi to ensure she remained loyal and kept Kennedy’s secrets.

Lizza wrote that de Becker would contact her to check whether she was protecting Kennedy during the scandal and managing the fallout behind the scenes.

Nuzzi allegedly revealed details of one of those calls to Carlson, who then told her she should “fear for her life” and even offered to send her a shotgun.

Lizza claims Nuzzi repeatedly admitted she feared something could happen to her if the affair became public and believed Kennedy would cut ties to protect himself.

Once the story finally broke, Lizza says Kennedy convinced Nuzzi to stay loyal by spinning a narrative in his favor before quickly ghosting her.

Nuzzi allegedly became desperate for answers and sought Carlson’s help to reconnect with Kennedy after he stopped speaking to her.

Carlson later met Kennedy for dinner, where the two reportedly debated the scale of what they believed was a coordinated effort against him, per the New York Post.

Lizza says Carlson became convinced that Kennedy was being blackmailed by Israel and that a wider plot was underway to damage Trump by first destroying Kennedy.

Kennedy, according to Lizza, believed the pushback was coming from him and possibly from Nuzzi, but Carlson assumed a much broader deep state conspiracy was involved.

Lizza described Carlson as the “Alex Jones” of the situation and Kennedy as the “Oliver Stone,” saying the two were feeding off each other politically and personally during the fallout.

The journalist has been slowly releasing his version of events ever since Nuzzi published her memoir detailing the short-lived sexting affair with Kennedy during his failed 2024 presidential run.

Nuzzi parted ways with Vanity Fair amid her involvement in the RFK Jr. affair scandal.

“Vanity Fair and Olivia Nuzzi have mutually agreed, in the best interest of the magazine, to let her contract expire at the end of the year,” a joint statement between Nuzzi’s spokesperson and Vanity Fair confirmed last week.

Nuzzi joined Vanity Fair as an editor in September.
