Kristi Noem’s Whereabouts Exposed

Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is reportedly still living in a guarded waterfront residence on a Washington-area military base seven weeks after being removed from her Cabinet position.

According to the report, Noem has continued occupying a home at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling that was provided during her time leading the Department of Homeland Security.

The house was previously reserved for the commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard.

The report states that after President Donald Trump fired the prior commandant last year, Noem moved into those quarters.

She has allegedly remained there more than a month after her planned departure from Homeland Security.

Although no longer DHS secretary, Noem still serves in the administration in another capacity.

The article says Trump appointed her as special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a State Department office tasked with combating international drug cartels.

Sources described the appointment as a soft landing after her removal from Homeland Security.

The report also claimed the office has already experienced staffing problems.

Nearly half of the employees were reportedly placed on administrative leave in March, according to the source.

The White House declined to comment.

Current Coast Guard leader Kevin Lunday has reportedly told associates that he intends to move into the residence soon.

According to the report, Lunday currently lives next door in a separate home originally designed for vice commandants.

The article also focused on Noem’s longtime adviser Corey Lewandowski.

It claimed Lewandowski has been seen entering and leaving the base residence over the past year.

The Daily Mail said it previously published photographs of him leaving earlier Noem residences in Washington.

Both Noem and Lewandowski have publicly denied any affair rumors.

Lewandowski responded by saying numerous people visited Noem at the house for legitimate business purposes, per the Daily Mail.

The report further claimed that Noem and Lewandowski were pushed out of DHS after Trump became frustrated during Senate questioning about a $220 million advertising campaign.

One ad reportedly showed Noem riding a horse near Mount Rushmore while bison stampeded nearby.

The article said Trump was unhappy because he had not known about the spending beforehand.

The story also referenced an Inspector General investigation into alleged no-bid contracts, conflicts of interest, and influence concerns tied to Noem’s tenure.

According to the report, notices were sent ordering dozens of officials to preserve communications, including emails, texts, phone records, and documents.

No criminal findings were cited.

The immediate issue appears to be Noem’s continued use of government-provided housing after leaving her original Cabinet role.

Whether that arrangement is formally authorized under her current State Department position was not explained in the report.
