Kash Patel Unveils Chilling Evidence in Deadly ICE Sniper Attack

Authorities have identified Joshua Jahn, 29, as the perpetrator of Wednesday morning’s deadly shooting at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, Texas.

According to law enforcement sources, Jahn opened fire on an unmarked transport van carrying detainees before taking his own life.

Officials report that the attack was politically motivated, with evidence suggesting a targeted animus toward ICE personnel, including at least one bullet casing marked “ANTI-ICE,” as noted by FBI Director Kash Patel.

Resist the Mainstream reported earlier that the shooting occurred shortly beforer 7 a.m. during routine detainee processing.

Jahn positioned himself on a nearby rooftop, using a sniper rifle to fire into the secured sally port area.

Two detainees were killed instantly, while a third remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Responding officers discovered Jahn dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, alongside the weapon used in the attack.

The FBI’s Dallas field office is coordinating the investigation with local authorities.

FBI Special Agent in Charge R. Joseph Rothrock said early evidence indicated the shooter harbored deep resentment toward ICE, citing recovered shell casings and other items carrying anti-ICE messages.

ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed that the attack appeared carefully planned, targeting both detainees and federal staff.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned the violence on social media, emphasizing the unprecedented threats faced by ICE personnel.

“Multiple injuries and fatalities occurred, and the shooter took his own life,” Noem wrote.

“Our law enforcement officers face unprecedented violence. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”

This assault is the latest in a series of attacks targeting ICE facilities.

In July, a coordinated incident near Fort Worth left one officer wounded and led to the arrest of a dozen suspects.

Officials say that rising threats against ICE personnel are being fueled by increasingly hostile rhetoric surrounding immigration enforcement, including public statements that equate officers with oppressive or violent regimes.

Law enforcement experts warn that this kind of language can embolden extremists to commit real-world attacks.

Border Czar Tom Homan, alongside President Donald Trump, has publicly linked anti-ICE messaging to real-world violence.

Trending Politics reports that Homan warned that language equating officers with Nazis or Gestapo units emboldens extremists, heightening the risk of attacks.

Authorities confirm Jahn acted alone.

Rothrock described the shooting as “one of the deadliest acts of violence against ICE in recent years,” noting that no law enforcement officers were harmed.

Investigators continue to examine Jahn’s communications and online activity for signs of premeditation.

In response, Texas law enforcement has increased its presence around ICE facilities, while federal officials review security protocols to prevent similar incidents.

DHS representatives stress that protecting officers and detainees is a top priority and lessons from the Dallas attack will inform nationwide measures.

As the investigation unfolds, the Dallas shooting highlights the growing dangers faced by federal immigration personnel.

Officials urge vigilance, interagency cooperation and public awareness to safeguard officers and those in custody.

“These attacks are not isolated,” Rothrock said. “We are committed to pursuing justice and preventing further threats.”
