Joe Rogan Sounds Alarm on Rising Threat to America

Podcast host Joe Rogan issued a stark warning on Tuesday that the reaction to the September assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) co‑founder Charlie Kirk signals a dangerous escalation in political tensions, bringing the nation closer to the brink of civil conflict.

Speaking on “The Joe Rogan Experience” with Brian Redban, Rogan highlighted the disturbing reality of people celebrating Kirk’s murder, noting that moral decay is evident when ideological disagreement is met with rejoicing over death.

“Charlie Kirk gets shot and people are celebrating. Like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You want people to die that you disagree with? Where are we right now on the scale of one-to-civil war? After the Charlie Kirk thing, I’m like, ‘Oh, we might be like seven,’” Rogan said, according to The Daily Caller.

He emphasized that this reaction is not limited to extremists but includes mainstream voices in media and academia.

Rogan stressed that such celebrations are a clear warning sign: when ordinary citizens begin condoning or even cheering political killings, society has entered “dark territory.”

The podcast host recalled his reaction after the murder, admitting it left him stunned.

Actor Charlie Sheen also appeared on Rogan’s show, expressing shock and mourning Kirk’s death, underscoring that even Hollywood observers recognized the severity of the incident.

The political temperature in America has surged beyond rhetoric into threats and intimidation targeting conservatives.

Notable incidents include Virginia AG-elect Jay Jones, who admitted to sending texts fantasizing about shooting a Republican House speaker and harming his family, along with harassment campaigns from liberal podcasters, educators and even some elected officials.

These episodes, coupled with celebrations of political violence online, reflect a troubling trend where ideological disagreement increasingly translates into real-world threats.

Campus events remain flashpoints.

During a TPUSA stop at the University of California, Berkeley, a man assaulted a TPUSA supporter outside the venue, and several others were arrested for vandalism, according to Fox News.

TPUSA Chief of Staff Mikey McCoy described the ongoing harassment.

“Right now… Antifa is breaking through police barricades and threatening our event attendees,” he said.

Rogan warned that these patterns of violence and celebration are indicative of a nation inching toward civil conflict.

“This might be like step seven on the way to a bona fide civil war,” he said, noting that ordinary people celebrating someone’s murder signals a collapse in the moral boundaries that hold society together.

Observers note that the implications go beyond TPUSA and Kirk.

Threats against conservatives, coupled with the mainstreaming of political violence, show a cultural and ideological rift that could have severe consequences if left unchecked.

Rogan argued that addressing this moral and civic decline is critical to preventing further escalation, emphasizing the need for accountability and public awareness.

As the country grapples with political extremism, the murder of Charlie Kirk and the disturbing reactions to it serve as a cautionary tale.

Without vigilance and a commitment to protecting citizens from politically motivated violence, the U.S. risks normalizing attacks on those with dissenting viewpoints, potentially destabilizing the political landscape for years to come.
