It’s difficult to say who was hit harder by the one-liner JD dropped — Tim or Kamala.
Not only did JD walk into the belly of the beast, facing the coordinated attacks of the Democrat AV department formerly known as the news media — and batting them away like flies — but he showed amazing message discipline, taking the traps being set for him and reframing them in the context of their political opponents.
Boom!
Here he one representative example of how he is taking dishonest questions, stripping away the traps, and dealing with the heart of the issue. JD really is good at this. Colin Rugg captioned this video perfectly (see bold text):
NEW: JD Vance shreds VP Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and even host Dana Bash during an interview on CNN.
1. Vance calls out Walz for stolen valor, says he did it for political gain.

NEW: JD Vance shreds VP Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and even host Dana Bash during an interview on CNN.
1. Vance calls out Walz for stolen valor, says he did it for political gain.
2. Vance rips Harris for refusing to sit down for a TV interview, calls out Bash for asking him about things he said 3 years ago.
3. Vance calls Harris a “chameleon,” says she becomes whatever people want her to become.
4. Vance sets the record straight on his comments regarding childless people.
5. Vance says he is eager to debate Tim Walz.
How do you know that lying about his service record question is getting traction? Because the Kamala campaign and the media presstitutes have been stealth editing references made to his record, ‘correcting’ them.
They are claiming Tim ‘misspoke’. Riiiiiiight.
Misspoke, huh? Can he explain why his Congressional bio also ‘misspoke’ by claiming a rank whose credentials he did not stay on long enough to complete?
You can also tell it’s getting traction when the other side tries to either invoke other experts in defending Tim Walz (or better yet, criticizing Vance for making reference to it), attack/Trump for some other failing (not serving in Vietnam), or minimizing Vance’s achievements by trivializing the role he played while in Iraq (something they never did with Buttigieg), or diminishing his service record — like when the Wiki page briefly deleted his service awards.
It’s back up. But SOMEBODY obviously wanted it gone. For some reason.
Like Vance told Bash — the real issue VANCE was raising wasn’t about the rank or the reasons he complete the two years he would have committed to in order to qualify for the new rank Walz had accepted… it was about telling the world things about his service — however honorable it may or may not have otherwise been — that were not actually true.
Dear young Christian male, this book you’re about to read is meant to challenge you to your very core. Its intent is not to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Some of the chapters will upset you greatly, especially if you’re a dandy who was raised with kid gloves by a helicopter mommy.

If you want a feel-good book that tickles your ears and morphs you into a little Christian popinjay, this tome ain’t for you. You should put this book down and walk away from it immediately.
