Hollywood Star Found Dead

New details have emerged surrounding the death of former “Big Brother” contestant Amber Siyavus after police reportedly discovered a mysterious white powder, burnt aluminum foil and other suspected drug paraphernalia near her body.

Siyavus, who gained national attention during the reality show’s eighth season in 2007, was found unresponsive inside a Las Vegas home on October 9.

A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department report obtained by TMZ describes the troubling circumstances officers encountered after responding to the residence.

According to investigators, Siyavus was found holding what appeared to be a straw used for snorting substances, along with a lighter.

When officers moved her body, they reportedly discovered aluminum foil with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing an unidentified white powder beneath her.

Police also recovered numerous prescription pills from her luggage.

Four Narcan sprays, commonly used to reverse opioid overdoses, were among the items found at the scene.

The discoveries have raised questions about whether drugs played a role in the former reality star’s death.

However, authorities have not released an official cause or manner of death, and the substances recovered have not been publicly identified in the information provided.

The police report also offers a heartbreaking account of the hours before Siyavus was discovered.

Her aunt told investigators that Siyavus had recently returned to Las Vegas from Michigan on October 4 to visit her mother.

She had reportedly been living in Michigan while making arrangements to move her son to Las Vegas.

On the morning of October 9, her aunt noticed Siyavus lying sideways in bed at approximately 7 a.m.

At the time, she did not recognize anything unusual and returned to sleep.

But when she checked again around 11 a.m., Siyavus remained in the same position.

This time, she wasn’t responding.

Her aunt contacted emergency services, telling dispatchers that Siyavus was not breathing and was cold to the touch.

Police and emergency personnel responded, but the former television personality could not be revived.

She was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m.

During their investigation, officers also learned about Siyavus’ past struggles with substance abuse.

Her aunt told police that Siyavus had previously attended rehabilitation for heroin use and unidentified prescription pills.

She also indicated that she was unaware of Siyavus experiencing suicidal thoughts before her death.

Those details provide additional context for the investigation, although they do not establish what caused Siyavus to die.

The presence of suspected drug paraphernalia and prescription medication at the scene does not, by itself, confirm an overdose.

A definitive determination would depend on the findings of medical examiners and any relevant toxicology testing.

Siyavus became a familiar face to reality television viewers nearly two decades ago when she competed on Season 8 of CBS’s “Big Brother.”

Her emotional reactions inside the house made her one of the season’s most memorable contestants, eventually earning her the nickname “Whamber.”

She finished the competition in seventh place.

The show’s format placed contestants together in a house under constant surveillance as they competed in challenges and voted to eliminate one another.

Siyavus’ emotional personality became a defining feature of her appearance, helping her stand out among the season’s cast.

Years after her television debut, the latest police findings have brought renewed attention to the circumstances surrounding her death.

Investigators have documented the items recovered near her body, her reported history of substance use and the account provided by her aunt.

But a crucial question remains unanswered.

Authorities have yet to disclose what caused Siyavus’ death, leaving the suspected substances and other evidence as unresolved elements of the investigation.
