Hannity Health Concerns Surge After Viewers Notice Strange Change

Fox News host Sean Hannity said Wednesday he is recovering from a pinched nerve after weeks of online speculation about changes in his appearance during recent broadcasts.

Hannity addressed the rumors in a statement posted on social media after viewers questioned his noticeably puffy face and raspy voice.

The veteran broadcaster said the symptoms were caused by a pinched nerve he suffered while training and the side effects of medication prescribed to treat the injury.

“Thanks to everyone who has checked in,” Hannity wrote.

“I’ve already addressed this several times on my radio show, but while training, I developed a painful pinched nerve in my neck.”

Hannity said his doctor prescribed prednisone to reduce inflammation.

He said the medication caused temporary laryngitis and facial puffiness.

“My doctor put me on prednisone to reduce the inflammation, and while it’s helping, it led to laryngitis and some puffiness, which is normal for this medication,” he wrote.

The television host emphasized that his condition is not serious.

“I’m fine, recovering well, and still training,” Hannity said.

He also joked about the public attention surrounding his appearance.

“Apparently a few weeks of prednisone has generated more social media commentary than 30 years of ratings success,” he wrote.

Hannity thanked supporters who reached out with messages of concern and appreciation.

“I appreciate all the concern and well wishes—including from members of the left-wing media,” he wrote.

“Sorry to disappoint them, but a pinched nerve, a raspy voice, and a puffy face aren’t taking me out anytime soon.”

Speculation about Hannity’s health had circulated on social media in recent weeks as viewers noticed changes in his appearance and voice during his nightly television program.

Some users questioned whether the longtime Fox News host was experiencing a more serious medical condition.

Hannity said those concerns were misplaced, explaining that the symptoms were temporary side effects associated with prednisone treatment and his neck injury.

Prednisone is a corticosteroid commonly prescribed to reduce inflammation and can cause temporary facial swelling and voice changes in some patients.

Hannity said he expects the symptoms to improve as he continues recovering, per Trending Politics.

The broadcaster indicated he has continued his regular training routine while recovering from the injury.

He also made clear that he has no plans to step away from his television or radio duties.

Hannity has hosted his prime-time Fox News program for decades and remains one of the network’s longest-serving personalities.

His comments appeared to reassure viewers who had expressed concern over his recent appearances.

The statement marked his most direct public response to the online speculation, attributing the changes in his appearance to a treatable injury and the temporary effects of prescribed medication.

Hannity did not indicate when the injury occurred but said he is continuing to recover and expects to return to normal as the healing process continues.
