The Department of Justice is going after Democrats who are trying to halt or delay ICE’s operations across the country.
Attorney General Pam Bondi dropped the hammer on anti-ICE liberals, including Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D).
The three radical Democrats are now facing a federal investigation by the DOJ for trying to dox ICE agents and halt operations nationwide.
The DOJ’s investigation comes as Pritzker, Pelosi and Lightfoot defame ICE agents for carrying out deportations.
Pritzker even went as far as to compare ICE agents to Nazis.
On Thursday, the Illinois governor accused ICE of “racial profiling” and called them “the worst of the worst.”
In an interview with Fox News, Pritzker claimed that ICE is specifically targeting Black and Brown people solely because of the color of their skin.
Pritzker told host Brett Baier that although he wants the “bad guys” to be deported, he strictly opposes ICE’s “racial profiling” schemes, Fox News reported.
“We want the bad guys off the streets,” he said. “What we don’t want is for people to get racially profiled. That’s what’s happening right now.”
Pritzker then went on to claim that ICE is taking away people’s rights, as Trending Politics reported.
“I’m talking about what they were doing, taking away people’s rights, arresting people, asking them for papers,” the Illinois Democrat said, before comparing ICE to an authoritarian government.
“Early on in an authoritarian regime, wherever it is in the world throughout history, this is what happens,” he said. “It’s the beginning of something very bad for a country, especially a constitutional republic.”
Like Pritzker, Lightfoot denigrated ICE over its actions.
The former Chicago mayor called for the creation of a so-called “centralized archive” containing the crimes that ICE has allegedly committed.
“We want to create a centralized archive of all the purported criminal actions of ICE and CBP agents,” Lightfoot said. “We want to create a portal where what’s happening real time can be centralized and put out for the public to view.”
Bondi responded to Pritzker and Lightfoot’s remarks by announcing that the DOJ would investigate both Democrats.
“She will be getting a letter from us tomorrow to preserve anything that she’s done, as well to make sure that she’s not violating the law. It appears she is. You cannot disclose the identity of a federal agent, where they live, anything that could harm them,” Bondi told Fox News host Jesse Watters. “Priztker? Same ballgame with him.”
Pelosi also used her significant influence in the Democratic Party, having called on California law enforcement officials to arrest ICE agents, who, in her eyes, violate the law.
“Our state and local authorities may arrest federal agents if they break California law — and if they are convicted, the president cannot pardon them,” Pelosi said.
Resulting from her comments, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche warned Pelosi, among others, against calling for the arrest of ICE agents.
“Pelosi got a letter today from Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. So did Brooke Jenkins, that DA in San Francisco. We told them, preserve your emails, preserveeverything you have on this topic, because if you are telling people to arrest our ICE officers, our federal agents. You cannot do that. You’re impeding an investigationand we will charge them if they think I won’t,” Bondi revealed.
