President Donald Trump’s legendary McDonald’s order is making the rounds again, igniting online hysteria after the president dismissed claims that his health is declining.
The viral moment resurfaced after Trump gave an interview pushing back on rumors surrounding his age, energy level, and physical condition.
At 79, Trump is the oldest person to take office, but he has repeatedly insisted he remains sharp, active, and fully capable of doing the job.
That did not stop critics from zeroing in on his fast-food habits.
The order, first revealed by then Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters, includes fries, a Quarter Pounder, a Big Mac, and a Filet-O-Fish.
The total clocks in at roughly 1,960 calories. When Trump adds a chocolate milkshake, which he often does, the meal exceeds 2,700 calories.
Online critics quickly seized on the numbers, claiming the president’s diet proves he is unhealthy.
Social media posts mocking Trump’s cholesterol intake went viral, with several left-wing accounts suggesting he couldn’t remain healthy while eating McDonald’s.
Trump brushed off the criticism.
In the interview, the president acknowledged taking cholesterol medication, including rosuvastatin and ezetimibe, under the care of his physician, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella. He also explained that visible bruising on his hand is caused by aspirin, which he takes daily to thin his blood.
Trump rejected claims that he has been falling asleep during meetings, saying moments caught on camera were simply instances of blinking or briefly closing his eyes. He argued that the narrative mirrors the media’s previous obsession with Joe Biden’s health, only now redirected at him.
The president also clarified confusion surrounding a medical scan he received in October.
While he previously referenced an MRI, Trump later explained it was a CT scan performed to rule out cardiovascular issues. His doctor confirmed the scan showed no cause for concern.
Trump’s love for McDonald’s has long been part of his public image. During the 2024 campaign, he famously worked behind the counter at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s location, as the Daily Mail reported.
Photos of Trump eating fast food aboard his private plane with allies like Elon Musk and Don Jr. have circulated widely for years.
A 2017 book written by Trump aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie detailed his longtime fast-food routine, describing McDonald’s, pizza, fried chicken, and Diet Coke as staples aboard Trump Force One.
Despite constant scrutiny, Trump remains defiant.
“My health is perfect,” the president said, expressing frustration with what he sees as politically motivated speculation. He has continued to project stamina while drawing sharp contrasts with his predecessor, whom he routinely labeled “Sleepy Joe.”
As Trump pushes forward with his second term, critics appear fixated on his lunch order. Supporters, meanwhile, see the viral McDonald’s story as yet another attempt to distract from policy wins and a president who refuses to play by elite expectations.
For Trump, the message is simple. He eats what he wants, works nonstop, and is not slowing down.
