Cops Uncover Key Evidence Amid Dead Daughter Mystery

Austin police officials disclosed new details Thursday regarding the death of Texas A&M University student Brianna Aguilera, who fell from a 17-story apartment building following a football game tailgate event.

The 19-year-old student had traveled from College Station to Austin for the Nov. 28 football matchup between the two Texas universities.

Her body was discovered in the early morning hours of Nov. 29 outside the 21 Rio Apartments.

Brianna’s mother recently demanded answers after she claimed there were many “inconsistencies” with the story from police, Resist the Mainstream reported.

Detective Robert Marshall from the Austin Police Department stated that investigators recovered a deleted suicide note from Aguilera’s phone.

The note was dated Nov. 25 and addressed to specific individuals in her life.

Marshall indicated that witness statements revealed Aguilera had expressed suicidal thoughts to friends in October.

These statements continued through the evening of her death, accompanied by self-harming actions and text messages referencing suicide.

Police presented a detailed timeline of events from the evening of Nov. 28 through the early morning of Nov. 29.

Aguilera attended a tailgate at the Austin Rugby Club but was asked to leave around 10 PM due to intoxication.

Witnesses reported that Aguilera dropped her phone multiple times and walked into a wooded area where officers later found her phone and other belongings.

One witness described Aguilera punching a friend who attempted to assist her in leaving the party.

Surveillance footage showed Aguilera arriving at the 21 Rio Apartments with a group of friends around 11 PM. At 12:14 AM, her friends contacted 911 to report her missing.

Marshall explained that friends initially assumed Aguilera had left with other acquaintances who were visiting for the game.

Most people departed the apartment around 12:30 AM, but Aguilera and three other women remained.

Despite losing her phone at the tailgate, Aguilera borrowed another phone to call her boyfriend at approximately 12:43 AM.

The boyfriend was not in Austin at the time.

Witnesses heard Aguilera arguing during the phone conversation with her boyfriend.

The boyfriend later confirmed the argument to investigators.

Two minutes after the phone call ended, at 12:46 AM, a resident reported hearing a thud and discovering a woman on the ground.

None of Aguilera’s friends witnessed her fall from the balcony.

Marshall stated that all individuals present in the apartment have been interviewed multiple times and have cooperated with the investigation.

He emphasized that no evidence pointed to criminal activity.

Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis addressed reporters, noting that the department does not typically discuss suicide cases publicly.

She stated that inaccurate information had circulated, causing harm to innocent people and their families.

Davis said claims that police failed to perform their duties were not accurate.

Marshall revealed he first informed Aguilera’s parents on Saturday afternoon and maintained contact through Monday.

Marshall attempted to reach the mother four additional times to share information privately but received no response until she requested he contact her attorney.

He stated he has remained in communication with Aguilera’s father.

The family released a statement through their attorney following the police press conference.

They declared the investigation remains open until they receive satisfactory answers about their daughter’s death.

The Aguilera family has retained attorney Tony Buzbee to assist with the death investigation. Buzbee scheduled his own press conference for Friday afternoon in Houston, Fox reported.
