Comer Issues Fierce Demand to Bondi Amid Bombshell Revelation

House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) is demanding Attorney General Pam Bondi take immediate action regarding former President Joe Biden’s late-term use of an autopen for pardons and executive orders.

Comer asserts that Biden aides bypassed the president entirely, issuing legal documents without his knowledge, and insists that those responsible be held accountable.

In an interview with Just the News, Comer emphasized the committee’s extensive investigation, including reviewing emails and conducting depositions.

“We’ve done all the heavy lifting,” Comer said. “Now it’s up to her to bring these people in.”

“If there’s anything in the report that’s inaccurate, they can defend it. If not, the report is 100% accurate, and the pardons must be declared null and void.”

Comer stressed the severity of using an autopen for legal matters of significant consequence.

While acceptable for mass letters or certificates, he said, presidential pardons are powerful legal instruments that require direct approval.

“If the president himself can’t physically sign that pardon, there has to be a reason,” Comer explained. “Either the president didn’t evaluate it, or he wasn’t in a mental or physical state to sign his name—and that is exactly what happened with Joe Biden.”

The committee’s report concluded that numerous executive actions may be legally invalid and called on the Department of Justice to investigate.

Comer accused senior aides of deliberately concealing the former president’s declining faculties while handling sensitive matters, warning that failure to act would erode public trust in the executive process.

Hunter Biden’s involvement in multiple pardon-related meetings drew particular scrutiny, The Gateway Pundit notes.

Comer said, “To have Hunter Biden in the room discussing pardons—while thousands were issued via autopen—is suspicious and demands immediate investigation,” referencing the former first son’s prior entanglement in foreign influence and financial misconduct.

Biden’s office dismissed the allegations, though the former president admitted in a New York Times interview that he did not approve each pardon individually.

Comer cited this admission as evidence that the process was improperly handled.

“One person has this authority, and that one person is the President of the United States. By his own admission, he didn’t evaluate all the pardons,” Comer said.

Bondi confirmed her office has begun a review of the autopen use, calling Comer’s findings “extremely helpful.”

“We’ll continue working with @GOPoversight to deliver accountability for the American people,” she said on X.

Comer’s message is clear and uncompromising: any executive action bypassing the president cannot stand unchallenged.

He demands decisive intervention to invalidate pardons issued without approval, hold aides accountable and restore the integrity of the executive branch.

“The law vests this authority solely in the president, and failure to respect that jeopardizes the system of checks and balances,” Comer said.

The committee’s findings and Comer’s urgent call for action signal a high-stakes test for the DOJ and Attorney General Bondi, leaving no ambiguity about the expectations for swift accountability.
