CNN Trashes Dems

CNN law enforcement analyst Steve Moore stunned viewers Friday night after reversing his earlier position and admitting that the fatal ICE-involved shooting of Renee Nicole Good was likely legally justified.

Moore made the comments during a broadcast of “The Story Is,” telling host Elex Michaelson that newly released video footage changed his assessment of the Minneapolis shooting.

The analyst said a new angle filmed by the ICE agent involved clearly shows Good accelerating her vehicle directly into the agent, leaving little doubt about the threat faced at that moment.

Moore explained that previous footage had been inconclusive and made it difficult to determine whether the use of deadly force met legal standards.

After reviewing the new video, Moore said the evidence now supports the officer’s actions under the law.

He stated that the key factor was the agent standing directly in front of the vehicle as Good looked at him and accelerated forward, striking him.

Moore said this met the threshold for deadly force under law enforcement policy, which focuses on the perception of imminent danger by a trained officer.

“Legally justified means that a reasonable law enforcement officer believed that they were in imminent danger of losing their life or suffering grievous bodily injury,” Moore said during the broadcast.

He added that the danger does not have to be fatal, explaining that even injuries resulting in paralysis qualify under deadly force standards.

Moore said a reasonable investigation would likely conclude the officer acted within department policy, Trending Politics reported.

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was part of an organized “ICE Watch” group that followed federal agents and interfered with immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis.

In the moments leading up to the shooting, Good used her Honda Pilot to block ICE vehicles during an active operation in South Minneapolis.

When agents approached her vehicle and issued lawful commands to exit, her partner shouted for her to drive forward.

Good then looked directly at the agent and accelerated, prompting the agent to fire multiple shots.

One of the bullets entered through the front windshield and struck Good in the head, killing her at the scene.

Moore also addressed the chaos that followed the shooting, as mobs of leftist rioters stormed hotels throughout Minneapolis after rumors spread that ICE agents were staying there.

The unrest escalated into assaults on hotel staff and the creation of an autonomous zone near the shooting site.

Moore expressed disbelief at the lack of a police response, noting that Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara was personally chased away by an angry mob.

He said the absence of police vehicles for nearly an hour was inexplicable given the scale of the disturbance.

Moore stated that such a prolonged lack of law enforcement presence was not accidental and amounted to police ignoring the situation.

He added that the rioters were fewer in number than in the 2020 unrest, making the lack of response even more alarming.

Moore’s assessment directly contradicts early media narratives and adds to growing evidence supporting the Trump administration’s claim that the shooting was justified under the law.
