Internet sleuths have seemingly unearthed something chillingly bizarre: a book being sold on Amazon about the assassination of Charlie Kirk that was published the day before the tragic event.
The book was available for purchase up until about 6:45pm ET on Sept. 11, 2025 until it was wiped off the platform, according to Amazon site archives.
It was shockingly titled The Shooting of Charlie Kirk: A Comprehensive Account of the Utah Valley University Attack, the Aftermath, and America’s Response Kindle Edition.
It was written by an author named Anastasia J. Casey.
The book was notably published on Sept. 9, however, Kirk was not killed until one day later.
X user @EscanorReloaded spotlighted the eerie finding in a post that has amassed over one million views at the time of this writing, stating, “Rather strange how things like this keep happening with Amazon books. This entire Charlie Kirk shooting seems to have many presets & safety valves.”
“Too many to be an organic and random act,” the account added. “Screams op to me.”
The user proceeded to explain that the book is “gone now,” noting that “doesn’t exactly help the ‘grift’ narrative.”
The poster continued: “When you select ‘My book was previously published’ and enter an older publication date, Amazon doesn’t require you to upload proof (like ISBN registration records, contracts, or copyright filings) at the setup stage. But will ask if reported. As this surely did get reported.”
“The response time for the author is 5-7 calendar days, up to 14 days. I’ve confirmed this with Amazon.”
“But here [is] where it gets tricky: When a book is submitted there is a 3-10 day turnaround before it posts to Amazon. Audio book was available on 9/9/25. This means it was submitted at least 3 days PRIOR.”
The book’s description makes this whole story even stranger.
It begins, “On September 10, 2025, the campus of Utah Valley University was forever changed.”
“During a scheduled event featuring Charlie Kirk, the prominent conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, a shocking act of violence unfolded that shook students, faculty, and the nation,” it continues.
“This book provides an in-depth, humanized account of the shooting, the immediate aftermath, and the ripple effects that reached far beyond Orem, Utah.”
The 69-page book had three one star reviews that were each posted on Sept. 11, per site archives.
The first reads, “How was this published on September 9th 2025 when this didn’t happen until September 10th 2025? He was shot and killed on September 10th 2025!”
The second says, “How was this published before this is crazy.”
The third asks, “Was the person writing this involved in the shooting?”
“It was published September 9, but the shooting happened September 10. That is is crazy! Something weird going on here,” the third reviewer continued.
Other X users replied to @EscanorReloaded’s post to share that they did some digging into this book too, and were shocked to discover its existence.
“I just used DuckDuckGo and still see the link,” one person commented. “Showing 2 days ago as OP showed too.”
Another posted, “This event is next level harvesting. The entire thing was engineered to harvest emotions.”
This is a developing story that Resist the Mainstream will update once new information becomes available.
