A group of liberal protesters was forcibly removed from the U.S. Capitol building Wednesday afternoon following a coordinated demonstration against President Donald Trump’s new legislative initiative, the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
Capitol Police detained multiple individuals after they staged a protest in a public corridor within the building.
The protesters targeted Trump’s proposal, which they claim threatens healthcare access for low-income communities and the elderly.
Supporters of the bill argue it will streamline government services and cut bureaucratic waste.

Other users echoed the sentiment, accusing Democrats of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
“The Democrat Party has become the face of radicalism, violence, and lawlessness,” one user remarked.
Critics of the protest pointed to the apparent double standard in media and law enforcement responses to left-wing versus right-wing activism.
Many compared Wednesday’s events to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, for which Trump and his allies continue to face political and legal consequences.
Conservatives noted that while Jan. 6 is constantly labeled an “insurrection,” similar disruptions by liberal activists are often dismissed or ignored.
The “Big Beautiful Bill,” championed by President Trump and GOP leadership, remains a flashpoint in the national debate over healthcare reform.
Supporters argue the legislation will overhaul bloated programs and return power to states, while opponents warn it could lead to significant service reductions for vulnerable Americans.
