At a press conference on Wednesday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced that the suspect in the Apalachee High School shooting earlier that morning is a 14-year-old student from the school.
The suspect, identified as Colt Gray, has been taken into custody. Officials stated that Gray will be charged with murder and will be tried as an adult.
Authorities confirmed that four people were killed and nine others were taken to the hospital with injuries. Among those killed, two were students and two were adults.
