Bombshell MAGA Divorce Shocks All

Alina Habba, one of President Donald Trump’s most recognizable legal allies, has finalized a sudden divorce from her husband Gregg Reuben after five years of marriage.

Court records show the couple signed a separation agreement on February 2 before filing official divorce papers in New Jersey on February 12.

The divorce was granted shortly afterward on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.

The split came just weeks after the couple hosted a lavish New Year’s Eve party at their $9.6 million Palm Beach mansion.

Friends and political allies gathered at the estate to celebrate the new year, the new home, and the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary.

Only weeks later, the marriage was over.

Habba had also appeared publicly with Reuben days before the divorce filing.

On Jan. 31, the pair attended the wedding of Trump political consultant Alex Bruesewitz at the president’s Doral golf club in Florida.

Photos from the event showed Habba posing with guests while Reuben stood quietly behind her.

Two days later, the couple finalized their separation.

Sources familiar with the situation say the relationship had been strained for months before the official split.

Friends close to Habba suggested the pair had been living apart for some time.

Some acquaintances were openly critical of Reuben following the divorce.

One source described him as “a man not worth sharing a life with.”

Others described Habba as a strong personality who needed a partner capable of matching her ambition.

“She’s a self-made lawyer who fought her way to the top,” one friend said. “She’s a devoted mom and someone who refuses to dim her personality.”

Reuben, a Harvard Business School graduate and founder of a New York parking management company, largely stayed out of politics during the marriage.

According to friends, he was not deeply involved in the political world that increasingly surrounded Habba, per the Daily Mail.

Habba, by contrast, quickly became a prominent figure in Trump’s orbit.

She rose to national prominence after joining Trump’s legal team and defending him in several high-profile cases.

Her loyalty to Trump earned his admiration and eventually a position inside the administration.

In late 2024 Trump named Habba as a counselor to the president.

The appointment placed her inside the White House inner circle.

The couple appeared publicly together several times during that period, including at White House events and Mar-a-Lago gatherings.

Reuben was also appointed chair of a Transportation Department advisory board in 2025.

Despite their high-profile lifestyle, sources say the relationship struggled as Habba’s political career accelerated.

Friends say she thrived in the intense environment surrounding Trump and his allies.

Reuben, however, was described by acquaintances as a more reserved businessman who preferred a quieter life.

Habba has remained silent publicly about the divorce.

Her husband has also declined to comment.

For now, Habba appears focused on her future in Florida.

She recently purchased a seven-bedroom Palm Beach mansion less than two miles from Mar-a-Lago.

Friends say she is enjoying the next chapter of her life.

“She’s super happy in Florida so far,” one source said. “I think it’s a positive new chapter and I’m excited to see what she’s going to do.”
